I'm a novice photographer but I like to take close-up (macro) photos. I thought I was doing alright but using this tripod greatly improved the quality of the photo . For example, the photo of one of my succulents. You can use it like a regular tripod or as a little monkey clinging to a lamp pole or railing or whatnot. It does take some time and effort to get the feel of where to place and how to bend the legs as well as how to orient the camera so it's stable and perfectly horizontal (my camera has a display setting that shows me if the camera is tilted or straight). Keeping in mind all of the above, I went slowly at first to avoid breaking any of the pieces or have the whole thing topple over. The tripod was easy to assemble and is small enough to carry in a large purse or backpack. One photo shows the set-up with my favourite IPA for scale. There's also a part for using your smartphone instead of the camera and the remote control is a nice touch as well. What's more, I got an email a few days after asking if I was happy with the tripod and, if not, to please let them know, so that's really good customer service. The email also said the tripod comes with a lifetime guarantee. So,

Not bad. I'd buy/try again. A little to much packaging (i don't know why they have the sleeve around the box, lost a star there). It doesn't feel heavy duty, but it's not expensive. The unit with attachments barely fits in the holding sleeve when all put together. Although it's nice to have the sleeve to hold everything. Snug fit though. Remote works good. I'm not sure why there's an iPhone and Android button on the remote. I habe both, but it will only pair to one at a time.

And then this one, good price range. Since the opening you can feel the quality of the material and the sturdiness.
I’ve tried it a few weeks, the remote control works well. My iPhone 12 Pro (and other phones) fits great in vertical or horizontal. It’s pretty good and very stable.
It holds everywhere, you can put in on a tree branch or anywhere.
Also you can change the tip to fix a camera instead of a phone.
The size and weight are also perfect to me.
Can’t see anything wrong to say about it.
I think it will last a long time too.
