Works pretty well
Overall, this is a pretty nice product :-) Reasonably well made but not as high quality as you would expect. The stand is quite sturdy but I found that attaching the light to the stand was quite inconvenient as you have to rotate either the stand or the light to attach it. That knob just doesn't move very well. For vertical adjustment, you have to undo the knob quite a bit to adjust it but it does work. I had a small ball head kicking around (I'm a photographer), that I could use to make adjustments easier. I would suspect that if you were using this how it was supposed to be used, it would be fine but I wanted to try it for photography. The lighting controls work very well but the switch does require a firm press. I haven't used my phone on it yet so can't comment there. The light itself throws a very even light. It does come with a remote for your camera but I never tried it so can't comment. The phone mount is proprietary to the ringlight, just so you know.Overall a pretty nice product.

It’s a very great product, definitely great value for your money. I got one for myself some months back which still work really well till today and I liked it so much that I got it for my best friend. I absolutely love the remote, it’s easy to use and works great for both video and pictures. The stand also has great height and you can set it to whatever height you need. It’s portable, useable and functional. Love it!

This review is based appropriate expectations for the price point.
First, so many things about this tripod/ring light... materials, features, great light... so many great things are undone by one huge flaw. The phone mount is really, really bad. It is awkward to put the phone into (almost need 3 hands), the hard rubber presses and holds down any side buttons, the adjustment knob cannot hold the phone in a position that is usable because the weight of the phone either flops it forward (pointing at the ground) or back (to the sky and right at the ring light).
If that phone mount was even 'OK', easily a 5 star and highly recommend... but as it sits, it takes way too much fiddling around to try to set up. I've tried tape, shims of all sorts and nothing will fix the design issue.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product.
