My old (5+year) remote control selfie-stick/tripod broke a day before I needed it. I wasn't excited about buying this because it's 67" - which I thought was ridiculously excessive, given my previous tripod was 23" at max extension. However, this was the only thing that would be delivered on time, and I have a UBeesize ring light/cell mount combo which I'm a big fan of, so I begrudgingly ordered this.
Yeah, no, I was sold on this just unpacking it. The quality is literally tangible. The mechanism that controls how the tripod feet fold up and extend smoothly? The pressure clips on each length segment? The hundreds of positions the mounting bracket can be put in? The remote control working instantly and flawlessly? Wow. A lot of thought and effort went into this design, which is something to say considering this is a selfie stick. It's clearly a high-end one, though.
And the length isn't even remotely excessive. I had no idea I was missing out. As a stand-alone tripod, there's no angles this doesn't capture. And you can squeeze a couple more inches out of it if you don't fully extend the legs. This is miles ahead of stacking books and boxes to get the right height /angle. I think one of my favourite features is that I can collapse the telescoping sections one-handed, easily. And it's a controlled collapse, too - not a freefall.
This is a really impressive device. For the price, what you get is stunning. If you do any sort of photo/video work on your phone, I highly recommend you do yourself a favour and pick one of these up. I keep going back to the word impressive in this review for a very good reason. UBeesize is definitely a brand to keep your eye on, they're a brilliant new addition to the cellphone accessories market.

The construction is ALL METAL yet very lightweight. The clips & dials are plastic, but they are sturdy and easy to grasp.
The release dial in the center of the tripod controls the aperture of the legs which makes it as stable as you want it to be. This dial goes very tight and won't slip, further aided by the large, ridged rubber grips at the bottom.
The camera mount positioning is controlled by a ratcheting mechanism which is lightyears ahead of a ball or a similar piece that could slide. It makes the positioning of your camera/webcam/gopro so much more stable and virtually guarantees it won't slip. The 3 large, sturdy, easy to use clips extend the tripod to a whopping 67".
It also comes with a nifty Bluetooth remote configured with dedicated iphone and Android buttons, a variety of adapters, including a fancy looking one for a GoPro!
Bottom line: this is the best affordable tripod you will find and is a very solid replacement for my plasticky TR150.
