Now I got this primarily to use as a tripod for my phone/cameras for taking time lapse photos, wtc. Seems rather solid and durable and extends pretty far so far. Now using it as a selfie stick seems odd as it's at the collapsed tripod Part. But it's not overly heavy, so it should be easy to use as a selfie stick. The remote easily hooked up and takes or starts/stops video, so it's a nice feature. For the price it's great value. And if later on you find something more fitting to your needs. At least you did not break the bank and you can still have this in your collection.

The frame is nice and solid, so even windy shots seem smooth compared to my Ulanzi selfie tripod, especially with my GoPro.
The adjustability of the mount and the rubber grip for the camera attachment are my only real complaints. Its difficult to get precision with the angle of the camera with the joint alone, and when you try to get extra by adjusting the clamp on the camera it kinda works, but it slips.
If y ou need a heavier tripod in your kit, this is great for the price, but you may think twice if you need more than landscapes and distant shots...
