This is a long term review as this was bought January 2018 and used at least weekly ever since.I was converting over an arcade cabinet I have to run Raspberry Pi to have more game selection and so I wanted a dependable power supply source to power my lcd controller board ( similar to this here: https://www.amazon.ca/NJYTouch-M-NT68676-2A-Controller-LTN156AT02-A04-LTN156AT05/dp/B01FAG4KZO ) My own lcd board needed a 6A 12V supply so I searched up Amazon for those specs and quickly arrived at this product. I clicked a few buttons on Amazon and a day later it arrived on my doorstep.Once I had opened the Amazon box and then the manufacturers packaging I was quite pleased, exactly spot on. A quick install and a few moments later it was game heaven once again !For this power supply, it has never overheated, never given smoke, never shorted...it has performed flawlessly for...well I won't say how many hours of game time playing but I'll just say TOO MANY hours of game time playing. Excellent quality. I am using these to run some USB HUBs where the original supplies failed. The connector fit to the HUBs without me having to run out and buy and install different connectors. I bought in total 9 of these supplies. I am using them to run ORICO A3H series HUBs. I also found with some adaptation I can use it to recharge NOCO Lithium battery car starter booster units. These supplies will run most any 12 Volts devices as long as less than 6 Amps is required.

I ordered a 3-pack of the 12v 6A transformers. Afaik they work fine, I cannot test amperage with a meter but they run 12v 50w halogen bulbs juat fine (this wotks out to about 4.5A) Ran them all for 1hr and the bulbs were ofc smoking hot but the power supplies were still cool to the touch. Shipping was fast enough but was NOT as advertised, when I browsed them and added them to my cart delivery was only a day or two (major reason these were chosen and not another product was shipping/arrival time) by the time I actually paid these (and several other items in my cart) had been pushed back a few days. Still less time than the slow boat from China so Im satisfied with my purchase but rather deceptive on Amazon's part.

Please read this review and be VERY wary about the 2* 24v 6a power adapters. I bought it and when I tested them, neither worked and the cable from the adapter to the wall was getting very hot. Thinking I'd give the benefit of the doubt, I decided to return them and re-buy for a new box.

However, even with the new box, the same issue happened. Something shorted in the wires and a HUGE spark erupted from them. This is incredibly dangerous and there is no way that it is not a consistent problem with all of these power adapters.

I tested with a cable of my own and it worked as intended, so it is absolutely the cables that are messed up.

This could burn down people's homes! Stay away!
