These are cheap no doubt and I have never used another set so I can’t compare but I’ll try to address some items normally noted.

They are close together but I don’t find them difficult to operate. I feel like I prefer it.

They are well built. Yes they are plastic but the feeling underfoot isn’t cheap.

One complaint they are definitely mushy. I don’t have a comparison but I feel like the brake feel might be soft.

Overall I think if your budget is tight but you want to do more than use keyboard or controller there is nothing wrong with this option.

I am a licensed pilot since 1982. Certified on 15 single engine aircraft types. So I speak with real world experience and these are for the price as close as I need to use. A small adjustment to the rate as they are sensitive near the center. Just need to go to a non linear exponential curve and it was much more realistic. The breaking is good as is progressive, not just "on/off" as I have found on a more expensive unit. Peddle spacing is correct for MANY older aircraft "Aeronca, Taylorcraft,Luscombe etc". The center indent is a bit strange as it does not exist on many older aircraft, Cessna with tricycle gear with the Bungy connection to nose gear an exception.
Any way it works and I am most happy with it. Will monitor the lubrication needed closely, just like on the real stuff.

If you are looking for extra immersion with your PC SIM flying, these pedals are a great buy. Not only are they budget friendly but the build quality is above par. Not top but not at the bottom either.

Would be 5 star if they had sim mount holes threaded in the bottom. It absolutely blows my mind they didn't include them. There is a boss on each side, near the heel, that I drilled out to bolt them to my rig. But, I now need two tools and two hands to remove them from my sim rig, to switch to driving pedals. I find this super annoying, because all my other peripherals only require one allen key to switch from flight to drive. You listening Thrustmaster?

5.0 out of 5 stars Requires middleware for thrusters in star citizen but overall good

So you can set the X/Y axis of these to roll on star citizen no problem, you can even set the Z axis to roll no problem (the z axis is pushing the back/forward pedals as opposed to actually pressing the pedals themselves) - roll is fine on the pedals but not ideal however as soon as you try and bind throttle forward to the X axis pedal (right) and throttle backward to the Y axis pedal (left) it will bug out in star citizen and your ship will permanently throttle forward which is awful. To fix this you can go into "controls" instead of "keybinds" and invert forward/backward throttle of that joystick selected at the bottom right

regardless of being able to fix the issue by inverting you wont have true neutral and you will have ghosting between the throttle up/throttle down.

the only way to fix this is following a youtube guide by Johnathan Winters called "If You Have Sim Pedals You Need to Watch This" downloading both Vjoy and joystick gremlin applications and merging left/right pedal into a single "slider 1" and binding that to the forward/back dual bind.

having used both with and without the middleware changes to the pedals and using dual sticks, i strongly advocate for merging the pedals into the slider using joystick gremlin as shown in Johnathans video - it is well worth doing and massively improved my experience.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very happy with these pedals

I had some concerns buying these as lots of guys comment the individual pedals are too close together so your "boys" get a squishing! :-)

However, I have found they are fine so far as that goes. :-)

I use them for playing DCS and taxiing my F16 and F14 around the runway is infinitely easier than just using the twist grip on my joystick.

I'm sure I'll upgrade them eventually but right here & now I am very happy with these pedals and recommend them for a beginner.

I bought this last week despite a lot of bad press. They were cheap and plastic, they were too narrow, they were far too light - there was no end to how lousy they were. OK, there is a lot of plastic in them, but to me they do not feel cheap or flimsy. You can push on the plastic but it does not deform. For $80 or so you ain't going to get machined alloy. There are square rubber feet on each corner that grab the floor (wooden floor) solidly and there is no way the unit can move during use. The pedals are very strong and comfortable. I use them with socks on and there is adequate room, on them and between them. There is about 18cm between centre-lines of the pedals, and each pedal is about 11cm wide in the middle. They are about as wide apart, centre to centre, as a piper cherokee I have flown - an actual one. I suspect that a lot of the noise about them being cramped is from people who have not seen them, let alone used them. The pedals run parallel on metal rails, more or less silently, and very smoothly. You can unscrew the heel rests and use them with your heels on the floor, more like a real plane. I tried both, but prefer the rests in place. I placed the unit such that my legs were pretty much extended and got fine and easy movement in the pedals. I use them for Rise of Flight (WW1) so cannot comment on the brakes. I think that for $89 these are excellent pedals - quiet, smooth and solid - and I am really happy with them.
