Keeps my 13700k cool
5 Stars
Keeps my 13700k cool
Very impressed with this cooler. I'm using it on my Legion 7i desktop with the 13700kf. The tower cooler left a lot of performance on the table and would throttle instantly. This made a huge difference in temperatures and fits nicely in the case. The instructions suck but there is plenty on youtube you can watch. Fans immediately went to the colors to match the rest of the fans without even having to change any settings.

First of all, the cooler is BIG and it looks nice and well-made. The two fans also appear to be nicely made and run very quietly.
I'm using this cooler with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X processor (Socket AM4) and it runs at about 80C under a ~140-watt test load (Prime95) at default speeds (4850 MHz) just so you know. I'm am no longer able to reach the thermal throttling limit of 90C even with heavy stress testing and going over the 105-Watt limit for my CPU.
Looks good, seems to work well, is low-cost and very quiet!
Only reason I docked one star for ease of installation is the two mounting screws that hold down the cross bar for final mounting are a bit short. I tightened both of them all the way down until the springs under them were almost fully compressed, and they both stopped, so that's how I installed it. Seems to work great!

Built sturdy, easy to install, runs quiet, and has a noticeable impact on CPU temps. The included thermal paste is decent quality, so you'll save a bit of money with that.

The only potential negative I can mention is the size of the thing. It's no joke to call it a literal UNIT. Make sure to measure your case and motherboard before you commit.

Works great, easy to install. Currently using this on my Ryzen 9 7900x with no issues. Only wish the instructions were a bit better (I ended up accidentally installing it backwards the first time). Other than that, no complaints. Functions perfectly.

After doing hours of research on CPU coolers, it came down to thermalright and the newly designed phantom spirit (Based off the Peerless Assassin).
Paid $44 CAD and it feels like a steal of a deal. Installed the cooler with a brand new 5700X3D and the temperatures have been excellent. With a -30 pbo curve and running prime 95 for hours I topped out at 60C. I tuned the fans down for less noise and the temps on Prime95 only got to 72C.
You just can’t beat this price to performance.
It’s a no-frills, no nonsense cooler and I would highly recommend it.

I bought this cooler based on a review online from Hardware Canucks. My Ryzen 5 7600x CPU was running really hot with the with a Be-Quiet cooler at the same price point (Pure Rock). After installing this cooler the CPU temp dropped by 5-10 degrees C on 100% CPU load.

However, because it is so cheap, the RGB led is not as bright and slightly off-colored. Also, they made some weird choices with the mounting bracket. The female end is on the screw itself so it was hard to locate the mounting point. Finally, the fan is audible around 60% speed -- luckily you can install FanControl and limit the fan speed.

Overall, this cooler has the best price to performance ratio. I would highly recommend getting this cooler for Ryzen CPUs.

I7 14700k reach 100°c after 30 seconds of aida64's cpu stress test. I Added a 3rd fan to help but still runs pretty hot around 85 on normal load with no overclock at all. I would recommend it maybe to upgrade some stock cooler but if your cpu doesnt came with a stock cooler you should go for something more powerful like a water cooler 360 or something similar.

Edit: after some tweak on my power guzzling furnace of i7 14700k, i got it to run under full load with peaks under 90°c without loosing any performances because of thermal throttling and without having the cooler's fans at full speed all the time, i recommend it, now that i figured it out, to keep it cool for less it is a great option.
