After 3 years of heavy usage, my 2021 Zephyrus g15 gaming laptop was cooked. I was hitting 90c+ with cpu turboboost off lol. No biggie, I opened the heatsink and the factory liquid metal was everywhere... I removed any excess LM, then used this product.

From a results standpoint, I'm getting good thermals on the CPU. But the paste itself doesn't spread well. Probably should have gone with the X pattern but instead decided to spread it with the included spatula. The paste doesn't spread well, and the spatula leaves splotches and bare spots. I thought I would have enough paste for a few future PCs but there was barely enough to cover 1 CPU.

have an new acer nitro 5 laptop, had high heat problems, common with this model because of sloppy thermal application from the factory. idle was sitting at 58-62 degrees CPU from factory, after I applied Kryonaut on the GPU and CPU I am getting 47-52 on the CPU. In benchtesting I am noticing that it no longer thermal throttles in the windows event logs. I didn't even do that good of a job of applying, make sure you align all the little connectors up right- you can tell as they put red marker on the board and on the attachment- if you don't, you will smell smoke and may burn out a fan.
