The seam makes the chips jump out of play

We ordered this for our nursing home and were excited to get this, but after seeing the materials and how cheap everything is, we are returning this asap! half the time the pucks fly off the board and won't land in the slots. The sound effects don't work properly either. Don't waste your money on this piece of crap!!! Bob Barker would not endorse this junk.

I'm a teacher. Every year I buy something completely unnecessary for my class. This was that item. I will eventually figure out a use for it, but that's a problem for future Mary Grace. At any rate, this is awesome. The board is actually two pieces (contrary to how it looks on the box...) and there in lies the reason for the 4 star review. I had to go through 3 of them total before I finally got one where the bottom half of the board wasn't warped. When it's warped the chips don't fall correctly, rendering it completely inoperable because the chips (very nicely made by the way) go flying. Apparently there was a batch issue is the boards. If you're willing to be patient and perhaps go through a return process or two this is totally worth it. My class is going to LOVE it...once I figure out what to use it for. I'm thinking phoneme practice right now...whole class rewards...OH! SIGHT WORD PRACTICE :D

3.0 out of 5 stars Chips sometimes get stuck or fly off

Don't get me wrong, this game is a lot of fun, especially for parties. However, because there is no covering to keep the pegs on the board, they sometimes tend of fly off the board, especially when they hit the seam between the two board halves. I'm gonna look into ways to fill that seam up and maybe connect something to the pegs to form a grid that holds the chips on the board, like on the show.

Also it seems the board is not leaning at the ideal angle to keep the chips on the board. You may have to find something extra to prop the front of the board up. A couple DVD movie cases did the trick for me.
