Many attempts made with Telus in order to activate the sim card but it was of no use. Technical support was zero. It was not working even when I tried to activate on line. In addition it took nearly two weeks to get the Sim card . Later I was able to purchase one in the mall and got it activated within half an hour.

Got the sim card in 48 hours sharp. But the website did not want to activate it on my phone. The lady was unable to activate it when I called on the number behind the sim card. That call took 1 hour of my precious time. She told me that the problem was my phone (it was suposedly locked from international manufacturer), but it was not locked for real ! She told me to call Samsung , so I called Samsung, they told me to go to the store where I baught the cell . I went to the store in the mall. Once in the store, they tested a Roger sim card and proved to me that the phone is not locked. So after being proved that it wasn't locked, in the same mall, I went to a Telus counter , and the lady activated it in person and it took 30 minutes. So I don't recommend to try activating it online or on the phone. Please go to a store in person if you don't want to have a misleading experience. Thanks !
