How do I know if the wireless Android Auto adapter is compatible with my car?

If you have wired Android Auto installed in your car and your phone, this product is fit for your car. To know the compatible device, you can also find the right information on the Android Auto web-site.

Disconnection?

After connection, the phone's Wi-Fi will be occupied by the wireless Android Auto program. Dropped connections are usually caused by Wi-Fi interference. You may need to ignore other Wi-Fi networks when using the adapter.

Can the adapter be paired with multiple phones?

YES. It can be paired with multiple phones, but only one device can be connected at a time. When pairing it with a new phone, please cancel the current connection first. By default, it will only auto-connect back to the last used phone.

Sound playing from Android Auto is delayed while watching video on the phone?

Sorry, this issue is not with the adapter itself, but rather a problem with the wireless transmission. Because video transcoding is more complex than normal audio file transcoding and takes longer to process.

Audio input or output issues?

Please check your phone's Bluetooth to see if it is connected to another device. If so, please ignore other auto-connected Bluetooth devices.

This product was a game changer for me. It can get quite cold where I live, which caused cords to get quite stiff.I was constantly losing Android auto connection when the car jiggled the phone while plugged in.This Bluetooth enabled Android auto connector is fantastic. Setting it up was very easy, and it usually reconnects within 60 seconds of the car starting.*** One caution I will offer people is that you cannot use this device if you are running a VPN on your phone. You will get a red screen warning on your phone similar to the photo I attached, until you turn off the VPN.

I was using the Motorola MA1. Then my car got broken into, and it was stolen. I've been using this Teeran Andriod adapter for several weeks now. I have to say I am more impressed and happy with it than I was with my Motorola MA1. I found this unit to be incredibly easy to connect to. I used to drive through areas I thought were "dead zones" and would lose the connection. This Teeran adapter worked seamlessly in those areas! It connects great, responds to my steering wheel button pushes quickly, has great cellular phone conversations (real-time), has zero lag, and the music sounds great. I 100% have already recommended this product to others and would gladly buy it again or as a gift.

No way to contact support, website is not findable, no way of getting any help.
I've bought the product late January this year.

It's early June, of the same year I've purchased this, and it stopped working in the middle of the road.

I've done some troubleshooting myself, as I'm an electrical engineer.

Seems like this product has become a brick, and cannot be revived/repaired. The device isn't even taking any power in, and it obviously does not turn on to be foundable on bluetooth list anymore.

I'm just very glad that that the car's usb port didn't blow a fuse or anything when the product became a brick. That would have been a much more expensive fix.

If this product indeed has a warranty, or if support exist, please give me a way to contact you to get the warranty of the product. Otherwise this review will stay as 1 star.

I used this for 2 weeks before I snapped. Not necessarily the products fault but more my vehicle kept the power on for a surprisingly long time. During this time even though the vehicle was off it tried to connect android auto non-stop. So I would turn off Bluetooth to prevent the connection but android auto would detect something still and re-enable Bluetooth and try to connect repeatedly sending notifications about it.

No one seems to know how to disable this in vehicle other than there's a fuse that needs to change position but I couldn't find out which.

When I was using it, it connected quickly and android auto was available almost immediately.

I have a samsung flip phone and android auto that you have to connect a usb to access. Didn't matter how many cords ( I think 10 in total) I tried 99% of the time would not connect. Edit . After 2 weeks tells me it's connected to AA but AA isn't working on the screen. Now it makes me pair the device consistently. Sad this didn't have a happy ending changing it to 3 stars. Cause when it works it works but isn't consistent and this new pairing thing defeats the purpose if I have to keep the phone close and out of my purse.

I bought the Teeran Wireless Android Auto to put in my 09 Chevy Cobalt and it has been working great. I replaced the factory stereo system for something a little more updated. The set up was a breeze (I use a Samsung Galaxy 22 Ultra). The device is small enough to store away in the glove compartment. This was easy to install and worked flawlessly every time I started my car. If you're struggling, here are things to check:

1. Bluetooth and Wifi are enabled on your phone
2. Connect your phone to the adapter via Bluetooth (I removed the connection directly to my car to be safe)
3. The wifi connection should happen automatically after Bluetooth is connected

There's no noticeable degradation of sound quality. It takes about 30 seconds to get the screen usable to control my phone, but most of that is in Android Auto itself. There is a slight delay between the actions on my car display and the reactions on my phone, but that's likely the car as well.

Overall, I highly recommend this device and it's working great for me.
