I just wanted a couple flashlights around the house if the power goes out. I used to think, “I’ve got my phone, why bother?” And then the power went out for hours one evening. It was reality check I needed.
I didn’t want to use my phone’s light because I didn’t know when I’d be able to charge my phone again. I had to use it though because wow is my house DARK when the street lamps have lost power too. Plus, it’s not like when I was a kid and landlines still worked when the power went out because my portable landline phones need electricity too. Yes, every home needs a flashlight or two.
As you see in the photo it lights up an entire stairwell easily. It can light up a room well enough to navigate around it, even outside the beam area.

Wow these little flashlights are bright! And best of all they make a nice, big circle of even light, not the weird blob from old school incandescent flashlights. As per product description, you can focus the light more if you like but I don’t have any need for that. Being LED, I’m sure the battery life will be great.
