Thicker than I hoped and kind of quirky.
All the quirks mean that I'd rather have purchased a cheaper manual focus, or a more expensive Fuji pancake. Plus, my X-T30 ii isn't quite pocket sized like I hoped it would be with this lens. Still, it's smaller than my other lenses so it's easy to keep on and carry around.Pros:-Lens is affordable-Lens is lightweight-Build quality feels fairly good.-It's convenient to keep on my camera and grab as I head out the door.Cons:-The auto focus is the worst I've used, being both loud and slow.-The lens has significant vignetting, especially at larger apertures.-Chromatic aberrations start to appear as you stop down the aperture.-The lens is larger than you might expect.-Bugs in the software of this lens seem to disagree with my camera from time to time.PS: I'll keep using the lens since I have it now, and all the optical quirks can actually fun to work around from about F4-F5.6. I have enjoyed the lens, but would purchase something else in hindsight.

As the title says but here are more details.. Firmware update failed due to not enough memory? I can't remember the error word for word. USB device malfunctioned. I did everything to try and fix the device but could not get it to work. The device would no longer connect. The lens would not work on X-T30ii body. See the video and images. I followed the manufacturer's steps on their website to update the firmware step by step and this was the end result. I have done photography for 10 years and have done many many firmware updates. This is the first time I have ever had an issue.
