The product works great and is doing what it's intended to do. However, I bought this product brand new, and the box looked pristine when it arrived so I saw no inclination to check the unit itself. Finally got around to installing it and as you can see in the picture, someone had written in permanent marker their information (obviously it's been changed when I installed it).
So there's a couple issues with that. The unit isn't brand new and I was charged brand new pricing. The previous owner didn't reset the unit properly so if someone was not as tech savvy, then setting this up may have been impossible since the default username and password were completely changed.
The product all in all works as advertised, the problem falls completely on Amazon.

For maximum throughput I disabled 2.4MHz so I never connect with that and it is also polite to the neighbours. 5Mhz is almost empty in my area, so I use an 80MHz channel width.
I have both antennas pointing up so I get a longer, narrower horizontal coverage pattern. I could use higher gain antennas for narrower vertical and longer horizontal coverage, but I’d already spent enough money before I figured out my home internet sucks.

I wanted my wifi in the park across the street. (See photo) It took a few days and lots of tweaking to get almost 75Mb/s which is what my home DSL subscription is.
