Having never previously owned a mini led tv, this thing has completely blown me away on its sharp contrast, deep blacks and peek brightness! I have yet to game on it, but with it's HDR, I can't wait to try :)

First time I bought something of this value on Amazon. I live in a remote area of NB Canada and was a little worried about shipping. I have had the TV for a few months now and it is incredible. Arrived unscathed except for a few bumps on the outer packaging. No damage to the TV at all. The colour, clarity, and even features of this TV are as good as any TV that is almost double the price. I use it in a basement that does not get much natural light so I can speak for a room with natural light. However, for where I use it is is better than both of the other TVs I had there. If you are on the fence buy it. You will not be disappointed.

I was skeptical trying TCL over other name brands but have been impressed with the display so far. Many reviews noted this is the best price vs. performance panel on the market in 2023 and I would agree. Feels very close to OLED most of the time, only in some instances can you notice slight light bleed - overall amazing contrast, the brightness is spectacular (almost too much), and no concern with burn-in compared to OLED.

Build quality of the panel is fairly good with a metal bezel, I do wish the stand was a little more capable (it is plastic, and non-adjustable) but it is nice to have a center pedestal vs. feet at the edges.

Bought this TV to replace my old 65” TCL 5 series, and it’s a night and day difference. Black levels are much deeper and the brightness is blinding on a white screen. The local dimming works very well due to a high number of zones too. 120hz is incredible for PS5 gaming. Wish the eARC port had 2.1 though, I currently have my PS5 and Apple TV connected to my AVR into a HDMI 2.1 port that isn’t the eARC port as the lack of 2.1 for the eARC port didn’t allow my PS5 to pass through atmos audio. I don’t use any of the built in smart tv stuff because the Apple TV is just far superior.

Contrast is seriously impressive. From normal viewing distance you can’t really notice any bloom. The tv gets super bright, beyond comfortable but it’s nice to have that extreme brightness for HDR content.

Zero regrets with the tv, it’s the best tv I’ve ever owned.

La TV a des noirs intenses. C'est ce que j'attendais et je suis très content par rapport à ça.

En revanche elle a tendance à ralentir ou buguer parfois:
- ralentissements
- retroéclairage qui s'éteint! ça m'est arrivé une fois
- écran noir
C'est arrivé 3 fois en 2 mois d'utilisation. Espérons que les mises à jour vont régler le problème.
Fonctions intelligentes je mets 3 étoiles parce que je ne vois pas ce qu'il y a de réellement intelligent dans Google TV. Rien de révolutionnaire en tout cas. J'ai une Apple TV à côté et je dois avouer que ça n'arrive pas à la cheville... juste peut-être un peu plus d'options.
D'ailleurs, j'ai l'impression que la qualité d'image est bonifiée avec une Apple TV!

Quelques petits souci sont également à signaler sur le frame rate avec certains réglages vidéo. Le réglage de luminosité est aussi très limité voire impossible en Dolby Vision, dommage. Personnellement je ne vois pas de réelle différence en Dolby Vision ou en normal... peut-être que c'est mal géré? A vous de trancher.

Grâce au caisson de basses intégré, le son est aussi au dessus de la moyenne pour une TV. Mais il n'est pas fou non plus.

Le design est sobre, la TV est fine et le pied central bien pratique pour ceux qui n'ont pas de meuble large. La TV reste bien stable.

I've owned many high end TV's over the years and prior to this one I had a Samsung QN90B.

That thing was a blooming monster so I searched for another display that could display inky blacks directly adjacent to a sizzling bright HDR highlight.

Search is over; this is the one. The colour is pretty accurate and saturated. I prefer it to the Samsung. Black bars during movies stay black and the picture is sharp and detailed. I've tried gaming on it briefly also on my PS5, Series X and Switch. It all looks fantastic!

Save your money and buy this beast of a TV instead of spending double on a high end Sony or Samsung. They aren't worth it.

If TCL keeps this up I may stick with them from now on. Will certainly look to their TVs first the next time I buy a new TV. Couldn't be happier with my purchase and I'm a PQ snob and video enthusiast so I do recognize a great picture, motion processing and upscaling when I see it.

This TV is a winner!
