I have always loved T3 hair tools. I had my previous T3 flat iron for more than 9 years and used it almost every single day. It was the best flat iron I have ever owned, it didn't tug or pull at your hair, it made my hair incredibly smooth and silky (I have naturally very curly dehydrated hair). I have owned many other brands of flat irons in the past but none were as good as my last T3.
Once my T3 died a few weeks ago, I wanted to stay within the T3 brand as I knew the brand had great quality tools. I purchased this one and I was very excited to try it out. However, I will say I am quite disappointed with it. This flat iron seems to tug and pull at my hair and it doesn't leave my hair silky and soft like my previous T3 did. I have been using it for a few weeks now as I wanted to give it a fair try but I unfortunately have had no success with it. I'm not sure if I just have a one-off kind of situation with this flat iron because other reviews don't seem to mention any issues with hair tugging/pulling or issues regarding their hair not feeling silky after using this flat iron.
Needless to say, I'm sad that this flat iron doesn't work for me.

I literally bought my mom this exact same straightener from ultra while visiting them, I used it while home and again it was smooth and perfect. I had my eye on this after getting the T3 blow dryer, which I am very happy with too. I initially thought something was wrong because I couldn't get it to turn on, then read the instructions :) One must hold the on button for a good 3 seconds for it to come on, then you need to press the button when you want it to stop on a certain heat. The benefit of this is you don't accidentally turn it off and don't know it, which happened frequently with my last one. It really is easy just something to adjust to if not used to it.

The only drawback I have is that the settings are not that user friendly. You have to play around with it a bit to get the desired setting. The directions are not very clear on exactly how to to do that, but once you figure it out, I think you'll be pretty amazed at how well it works. Definitely worth every penny.
