You cannot choose your phone number nor area code. Please ensure that you have unlocked cell phone or T-Mobile authorized phone to enjoy our product. The SIM card only works on cell phones, it will not work on Mobile WiFi Hotspot (Pocket WiFi). This is a NO contract prepaid service. The SIM card comes with triple-cut regular, micro and nano size. Refer to the instruction included in the package for your activation request. We will activate the service for you within 24 hours. If you are with T-Mobile, you cannot keep your current number. Existing T-Mobile phone number cannot be transferred over to this item. This is a new activation only service, NOT a refill item for T-Mobile. Please note that the activation will occur on the requested first date of usage before 12:00 PM (PT).

I bought this card for our recent trip to Orlando. We were scheduled to be in the US on the Sunday, I email the SIM number to activation about 6 days before the Sunday. Come Sunday we put the card in and it worked great. No lag with LTE. Even with hot spotting, no lag with service. The only issue we had was after 7 days, there was no service. I texted the contact number that came with the SIM and within 2-3 hrs I was able to have my SIM activated again. They apologised for the inconvenience as they made an error and only activated for 7 days instead of 14 days. A little glitch but it got resolved quickly which I didn’t mind. I will use the same SIM card again when we go back to Chicago. You can reuse the SIM, just have to paid to have it activated again. I would recommend this card to anyone.

I purchased a 14 day card and after 5 days the phone and service stopped working. I tried calling the number provided for the US and received a message that the phone number is not in service. I replied to the activation email explaining the situation to the company and after back and forth for 2 days I went to TMobile for assistance. Since this is a 3rd party seller TMobile could not help. Today I get yet another email asking for my purchase details which further extends the non useage. I had to go and buy another sim from T-Mobile to get my phone up and running. DO not buy as they are not helpful and do not resolve issues! Waste of money!

I used this on my recent trip to Florida. Signal was quite good overall, only exception was as it was searching between network towers in Virginia (remote hilly roads). Otherwise, had decent data and calling signal. It took a second for my phone to recognize the new SIM card, although I had no issues. My phone number was also emailed to me, came in handy for texting and calling while in the US.
It suggests you activate the SIM card a few days before your trip, although it activated around noon the same day I requested it to be activated.

I bought this pre-paid card to use during a 10-day stay in the southern U.S. I was a bit wary because of some bad reviews (which were older than the better reviews), but am generally satisfied. The set-up was quick and easy, and it started working as soon as I got off the plane. Be sure to activate the card on line within the recommended time-frame, 24 hours +. The signal was good wherever I went in TX, and I had no problems with data or calls.

There was just one unsettling incident in the first couple of days of use. I got a string of SMS messages saying that my cell number was successfully linked to some e-mail in the UK, and the PIN number set up. I called T-Mobile for advice as per the message (`if this was not you, etc.`), and the lady helped me re-set the PIN, only it was still linked to that strange e-mail. I mailed the SIM card customer service and got a reply telling me to just disregard and delete the SMSs. In the end, none of this posed a problem using the card. The PIN number indicated was not necessary for turning on the phone or accessing voice messages. Because I don`t have a T-Mobile acccount, I wasn`t concerned about a possible hack or blocked access. I don`t know if any applications on my cell phone could have been compromised, but I haven`t noticed anything suspicious.

Bottom line: it is worth getting this card if you prefer not to be soaked by your home country provider for international roaming.

I do not ever write a disparaging review here because I would try to get resolution and help from the seller,, Amazon or both. I was given the activation code I put it in and although it said T Mobile was on the first sim slot and I had a Moto G5 plus which I was told was compatible with this sim. It got one text from the driver in LAX, who tried to call me endless times to no avail and then NADA, ZILCH, NONE, ZERO. It was a good thing the driver went looking for me and before I left Vancouver I described the color of my dress, coat, what I looked like, the colors of my luggages - he found me. I reached out to their service via email. They said they'll escalate, mescalate%^& and then sent me a link - saying that Verizon T-mobile is the best Lalala and - as far as we are concerned - it's activated - you're on your own. Seriously - if you want decent service in the US - get something else. Thank God for messenger and Wifi everywhere, hotels, restaurants, lounges etc. or you'll be left with a phone with no service. Be warned.

This will be edited if you fix my sim card 8901260185770886062f. Followed all the instructions requested activation on Thursday ready for our arrival today Saturday. The sim card is not working. Never got an email with the number as stated on instructions. Have been on hold waiting for a representative for 30 minutes.

Update.... after 2 emails with no response from the company. The helpline telephone number that is provided on the flyer that arrives with the simcard incase you need further assistance is the number dor TMobile. However underlined on the same paper it states do not activate with T mobile. After two days of wasting my time trying to get this fixed with vision global wifi. i went ahead and activated this with T mobile directly and paid for the plan of data and calls again with TMobile.

I Think this is a huge scam designed for people like mysel, i always believe i can do anything. So when i read the previous reviews i thought i can do this easily. Ill just follow the instructions. ...... DO NOT BUY!!!!

I was a bit skeptical to order because of some of the reviews. I'm glad I did, I am still traveling in the US while using my sim card. Hasnt failed me yet. The instructions are easy to follow. They ask for a date that you need your sim to be activated. I waited till the day of travel to do this part and they had it up and running for me under 24hours. It's a huge aid to be able to be contacted and to reach out to people while traveling out of my country. No issues with this purchase. Highly recommend.

I purchased this for my partner who was gonna be staying in the u.s. for a few weeks for our child's birth. He arrived on the Friday night and we tried setting this up but it kept saying our activation date was invalid (Saturday morning). I called t-mobile and they informed me that I have to contact whomever sold me the card since it's technically theirs and they would have to activate for us. Turns out that number was some number in Portugal and they weren't open for business on the weekend. So we had to wait for Monday (European time) to activate this card. He had to keep his fingers crossed and himself very close to me in case I went into labor because he was essentially without any service the whole weekend. Very annoying, other than that and once it was activated it worked just fine.
