a good, durable cable, feels sturdy enough i wouldn't be surprised if it had an internal support to stop kinks and bends.

only disadvantage is that the charging speed isn't fantastic but due to how usb-a works they likely couldn't improve charging speed without compromising data speed.

well worth the money.

I bought this to try an experiment using it as a PC tethering cord with my Panasonic S5iiX. So far, it works to tether with no problems. It's a great alternative in comparison to the PC Pro tethering cords which are nearly tripple the cost of this cord from Syntech. I will update this review if I come across any problems, but really happy with the money I saved.

This cable initially had problems connecting to Quest Link with the Meta Quest 2. We were wanting to play Beatsaber over steam VR from my laptop. Launching Quest link with the cable plugged in resulted in the 3 dots on a black screen, and an error message on my laptop saying that Oculus Headset wasn't working properly. Turned out my laptop was attempting to use the integrated graphics chip instead of the High Performance Nvidia chipset. I had to go into the Display settings > Graphics settings > Graphics performance preference and Browse to find Steam, SteamVR and Oculus, then set them all to use the high performance graphics. After that the Cable worked. So if you are also having problems connecting to Quest Link using this cable, maybe that solution will work for you too.

So, as said before this is a very good cable from a quality perspective but it is rigid in my opinion. It is well constructed and appears to use quality materials. All connections fit snug into their respective ports. How my son uses the cable being rigid doesn’t affect it use from his perspective.

Functionality wise it works as intended. My son has had no issues with the cable while using it with his Quest 3 and when using with Steam VR. I have had no complaints from him and he is the household expert on this matter.

Overall, it is a great alternative to the more expensive OEM. Even thought it could be more flexible it is a very good link cable. It met both our expectations. I would recommend this cable to others.

Purchased a super-dooper new gaming computer (the wife said something about a mortgage, not sure what that is, but she doesn't live with me anymore so I don't hear about that now) and someone reminded me that I could hook up my Quest 2 to it and play VR games.

I went on the hunt for a cable that would work well because the genuine branded cable I couldn't buy. I don't have enough money after buying my awesome-super-dooper new computer (there was some letters about this mortgage thing too).

A little hunting around and I found this baby. I bought the 5m one which meant I could move around a bit more. It arrived quickly and with good packaging. So I plugged it into my sick-awesome-super-dooper new computer. The cable works fantastically, no problems at all and there's plenty of length to play with 😏.

So yeah, now I live in VR. Some people have been trying to get in my house, something to do with that mortgage thingy. Anyway, awesome cable, works great on my whizzy-sick-awesome-super-dooper new gaming computer.
