Firstly, I have never used replacement skates (but many different brands of mice, Logi, Razer, Steelseries, Glorious, Corsair, Lamzu etc.) with that caveat out of the way - these skates feel so, so smooth. I love the shape of my mouse (GPX 2) but the stock skates were thin, and very scratchy. I did some Googling and found so many types of varying materials and brands, it was all a bit daunting as a first timer. Thankfully I have a close friend who owns the same mouse, and these skates, I took his recommendation and made the purchase the next day. They shipped quickly, application was simple, and the feeling of the skates? As my headline states, it's in the name - they glide! I'm no E-sports pro, but I do mainly play FPS games where aim and tracking are most important, and even only after a few minutes with these I can already feel the difference in smoothness. My only gripe is that of my own doing, I placed the puck skate on an angle, and it triggers the OCD part of my lizard brain, thankfully I nor anyone else will be looking at the bottom of my mouse. Easily 5* from my limited experience with replacement skates - far better than any stock PTFE skate I've used in half a dozen mice brands.

These are great, i was hesitant about buying these, but i noticed a lot of these gripes are personal issues, and not with the product itself, its very well made, doesnt feel cheap, MUCH better than stock skates, doesnt feel too grippy. They are exactly as advertised. The red looks really nice :)

These new ones have this coating on them, kinda like the one on the skypad. It's not glossy but matte.
They feel awful. I thought there must be some plastic covering on the glass but I scraped it with a knife and it didn't leave a mark so it's certainly the glass coating.
Even glass on glass it's not smooth.
Trying to track opponents with Lightning Gun in Quake Live is impossible as it sticks to every single soft and hard mat that I have. It's beyond garbage and they're not cheap either.

- They're faster than PTFE skates like Tiger Ice, yet feel easy enough to control, and have a very smooth glide.

- The previous Superglides were good, I was happy with them, but they had a long break in period until they weren't insanely fast to the point of sliding on their own. This new model doesn't have that same issue, is great out of the box, and faster/smoother than a broken-in gen 1 version is, those ended up slowing significantly (and yes I kept them clean/skin free).

- I waited 2 months to see how this would break in to leave this review, and so far, so good. A word of caution, though, don't get glass skates gunked up with skin. I don't, which is why I love to use them. If you do, perhaps glass isn't for you.

- I saw someone comment that it has a "coating"... it's frosted glass, it doesn't appear to be a coating.

The only thing I can currently complain about is the price, $33 is a bit much for skates... but it is the best IMO, so I'm sticking with Pulsar until someone beats them.

Opened the package and tried to apply only to realize adhesive was damaged and had pieces of what looks like paper stuck to the bottom. Also adhesive was damaged. Refunded and ordered a new one. Update when next order received.
