Very portable, easy setup for an indoor photography backdrop.
This backdrop stand will serve it's purpose. It is not a premium product but is also not priced at a premium. The flip locks seem sturdy enough but the twist locks for the legs are plastic and will strip if over tightened, so don't do that.I saw in another reviewer's image of the cap that fastens the crossbar to the side stands and it looks like the cap to a car tire valve but what I received were metal wing nuts.I live on an island province off the east coast of Canada, the most easterly point in north america, so everything gets here about the same time as anything else and this order was no different.In my opinion this is not a product for outside use, it could be that the sheer amount of wind we get here has biased me but I feel that even with the included sandbags filled with gold once a gust hits this 7x10ft sail is going to mary poppins out.I feel this will be great for seated interviews/images and if you are interested the following link is to a green screen I really like:https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00SR28ZV4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

I saw in another reviewer's image of the cap that fastens the crossbar to the side stands and it looks like the cap to a car tire valve but what I received were metal wing nuts.
I live on an island province off the east coast of Canada, the most easterly point in north america, so everything gets here about the same time as anything else and this order was no different.
In my opinion this is not a product for outside use, it could be that the sheer amount of wind we get here has biased me but I feel that even with the included sandbags filled with gold once a gust hits this 7x10ft sail is going to mary poppins out.
I feel this will be great for seated interviews/images and if you are interested the following link is to a green screen I really like:

The extendable top cross bar could do with a way to lock off the length you extend it to so it can't move. As it is it can easily shorten or lengthen depending on what force is placed on it.
That would also help keep the whole frame rigid.
Which leads me to my other gripe.
The sand bags are the only way to really add enough force/weight to counteract the weight of the backdrop.
Without them, because the top pole can easily shorten under force, the upright stands can easily fall inward.
The sandbags do the job but they're not particularly well designed to fit around the feet of the stands so you kind of have to wedge them in whatever position you can.
Could have been better designed to fit on the feet or secure to the bottom of the upright pole.
And last gripe is the bag.
You might think when designing this product that it would be appeared useful to provide a bag big enough to fit the stands, the sandbags (when filled) and the backdrop this was specifically designed to display.
But no they apparently didn't think that far ahead. In addition to the stand you can just about get one of the sandbags and your backdrop in the bag, in a way that will probably break the zip fairly quickly. Leaving one of the sandbags out. We have to wrap the handles thru the sandbag so it's at least with the bag with the rest of the stuff. It's not an ideal solution.
The clamps that come with this kit are a bit pointless if you intend on doing this properly.
Wish they'd have saved the money and not bothered supplying those and just provided a bigger bag.
Overall tho it works well enough and was relatively well priced.
