This magsafe iPhone mount is excellent. Very good quality product. This Stouchi Continuity Camera Mount for iMac is perfect and can be used with any model of iMac from 2017 intel to M3 2023 or apple laptop with Mac OS Ventura as well as on an external monitor connected to your iMac to use the continuity function with this Mac OS. It works wonderfully with my intel iMac running Ventura and using my iPhone 14 with this magsafe mount for video calls using continuity which adds functions like studio lighting and center stage to my intel iMac using my iPhone 14's camera and is not available when using the built in camera. The Stouchi mount hinge is stiff and maintains it's set position and sits solidly on my iMac the magsafe mount is quite strong i have no fear of it falling off. If you prefer ther is a tripod camera mount on it allowing you to secure it to your camera tripod.

I rarely write product reviews, but I think this MagSafe mount was worth a shout-out. I got this to take advantage of iOS's Continuity Cam feature. I have been very pleased thus far.

Here are the highlights:
- Solid build quality. The anodized aluminum is just the right texture, material, and thickness. The solid components do not flex whatsoever.
- The moveable hinges for the mount and the stabilizer pieces require the force to adjust and will not jiggle or change inadvertently.
- The magnet is sufficiently strong so you don't have to worry about your phone falling off.
- Overall it looks pretty good.

Possible concerns:
- I cannot quite comment yet whether you'll scrape off the nice finishing over time if you're constantly throwing this mount in your bag/carrier.
- I bought the gray version of this mount. The shade is lighter than what the website photos seem to imply.

Of note, Stouchi makes a variant of the MagSafe mount designed for the thickness of the MacBook screen. I bought this one because I want the flexibility to use it both with my MacBook as well as my thicker LCD panel on my desk.

Possible feature suggestion for alternative future product: It wold be pretty cool to have a similar MagSafe Continuity Camera mount that also supports charging. The trade-off would be size/weight.

I had the Apple sanctioned Belkin made continuity camera mount for Macbook and was looking to buy its equivalent for monitor as well. But it seems be perpetually out of stock so I decided to give this a try. I was impressed with every aspect of the product, packaging, warranty offer, and most important, its usability and quality. Sturdy build, versatile uses (on monitor and with tripod), sufficient magnet power, all at less than half the price of what I was originally looking for. I have already recommended it to multiple people.

For those who complain that this didn't work with their Macbook, READ the description of what you buying! This is for monitors and NOT laptops, which require different weight and attachment mechanism.

On the MacBook Air the weight open the screen all the way. On MacBook Pro 15 it works better. Or consider an external monitor. Other options is to have a stand like the one used for camera, didn’t try it but i has the threads to connect it

Another company has had a comparable unit on the market for a while, but it’s back-ordered everywhere. Also more than double the price.

This thing just works! Haha. Well after about 20 minutes of trying to figure out the top from the bottom and the back from the front. Just look here at the pics the merchant has provided. It’s quite clear. I won’t fault the company for my own cognitive problems.

Several reviews talked about magnetic interference from their case. This puzzled me, because I just had no problem. Then I realized! I have a MagSafe cover for my phone. It works with the MagSafe charger and any MagSafe device. These cases have an extra magnetic ring imbedded in the case. I also have a case they does not have the ring, and guess what? It does not work with any MagSafe device. So, this product here works 100% as it should. If you tried to save a few bucks on a case that is not described as MagSafe, then of course it will not work with this product! Remove the case or buy a MagSafe compatible case.

Such a simple, but effective piece of hardware. This magnetic mount does not require any adhesive, and sits above your monitor to mount your iPhone so you can use it as a high-quality webcam for meetings. Before purchasing this item, I was in the market to purchase a new webcam because the image quality from my built-in camera on my Macbook Pro left me with something to be desired.

For the price of this item, I figured it was worth a shot before committing a bigger budget for an expensive webcam.
