This was rather pricey. Purchasing from Canada meant GST would increase the price by a noticeable amount, exceeding my budget, but I bought it anyway. It’s a very nice keyboard. It’s clean, looks a bit more minimalist which I really like. The RGB reflects nicely on the aluminum frame, though a couple more lighting effects would be nice to have. The software is good, took me a little bit of time to understand, but when I did, it was pretty good, you can customize each individual key to light up separately when pressed. The key caps are removable and can be replaced, which is great if I need to in the future. I won’t for a while though, they look really good, love the font, and they have a nice texture that is very comfortable for my fingers. The blue hybrid mechanical key switches feel awesome, they spring right back very quickly, and produce this slightly loud, but otherwise satisfying click, that also have a tactile feel. I typed much faster with this keyboard than I did with my old one. However there is one key that sort of makes this metallic reverberation, but then again it’s just one and I don’t let that bother me. It doesn’t take away from the overall experience. The caps lock key requires a bit more force because the led doesn’t always light up when it’s pushed gently so it’s hard to tell if caps is on or not if it’s not pushed hard enough. The wrist rest, despite not being cushioned or anything, is surprisingly very comfortable to use. I don’t sweat, and my hands stay on it nicely. Typing feels far more comfortable with it. Shame it’s not purely mechanical, but most of it is, I forget what makes it hybrid. Feels completely mechanical though, so I am happy! LED Display is a nice addition to it, but you need to download separate software to make it display discord notifications and other things, like time and Spotify. You have to open that application every time you turn on your computer to achieve that, but I honestly don’t care, it only takes me 3 seconds. I highly recommend this keyboard if you are willing to spend a little more money. It’s been great for me, and I’m sure it will be great for you too!

Quality membrane TKL keyboard for the price

I decided to ditch the full keyboard for a TKL one for ergonomic reasons. I'm not a keyboard enthusiast, just need something that works and with some backlighting since sometimes I use it in low light settings. I wanted membrane because they tend to be cheaper and quieter than mechanical and also I'm totally fine with the feel of a membrane keyboard. I actually had a hard time finding a quality membrane TKL keyboard because most of them seem to be mechanical and at a higher price range then I wanted to spend (at least for quality brands). Then I found the SteelSeries Apex 3 TKL. I like SteelSeries stuff. They keyboard looks nice, it is membrane, and it was pretty affordable. So I got it and definitely no regrets! It fit the bill perfectly! Looks and feels good. I like the volume knob. The media button works well enough. The backlighting works well and is fairly configurable with the SteelSeries GG application. I do have some complaints. The GG application key remapping functionality is limited. Fortunately I can use the Windows 11 powertoy app for this. I also feel like they under-utilized the special "SteelSeries" key. I wish I can combine that key with the function and Mx keys for more functionality but that is not supported which is a bummer. I also miss a dedicated PrintScreen button since I use that button a lot. I had to create a special key mapping for PrintScreen functionality. But overall, I'm a fan of this keyboard. Hard to get a better quality membrane TKL keyboard for the price.

Dedicated media keys would have been better than a single multi function key. The wrist pad is attached with 2 magnets. If you are sliding the keyboard on your desk it's fine but as soon as you lift it the wrist rest will separate. Wrist pad has a nice soft feel.

I chose this over the G213 because the wrist pad is detachable and RGB is slightly better. If I could add the media keys from the G213 It would be the perfect keyboard for me. I would have bought the TKL version but for some reason Steelseries decided not to include a wrist pad or have an option to buy it separately.

This keyboard definitely doesn’t disappoint with the grooves of the keys, the feeling of them and overall feel of the keyboard as a whoel, it comes with a volume scroll wheel and a media button for those who like to listen to music or watch videos while playing games or doing other activities, the leds in the keyboard are quite customizable, with having 6 strokes of led across the keyboard allowing for some cool effects and great looking rgb. It also comes with grooves on the bottom of the keyboard, allowing you to move and hide the cable , allowing it to come from the top left, right or centre of the keyboard

The app is a whole new game changer, while allowing you to not only be able to change the keyboard settings such as the leds, or the keyboard layout to be something like azerty instead of QWERTY, it can also do tons of other things that i have been using every day, such as the clipping feature, allowing you to record the last little bit of gameplay and things that happened on your screen with high quality and good audio channeling, as well as audio sliders , allowing you to change where some audio comes out from , and be able to modify your microphone to have noise cancelling or more base for people who don’t have the best mic’s all built into one app

Definitely worth buying if you want a budget keyboard with high response and good quality and amazing program to use it with!

I am big fan of this keyboards feel for pressing keys and its sound not being overbearing. I wanted a nice mechanical that I can use with others in the room and not draw a death glare. This has good key feel and is built solid. It is easy to clean off and under the keys is easily accessible. You can grab a cheap keycap remover on here for less than 10$ that will work perfectly. The RGB has nice customization with different patterns and combinations if that is your thing and the light is adjustable for strength which is nice for night time. I have no real complaints about this keyboard and I think its a great build quality for the price.

The media could not be loaded.

Been using a cheap Amazon keyboard for awhile. It hurt my wrists, didn’t feel great, not exciting, decided it was time for an upgrade.

I use this keyboard for work, 10-15hrs per day. The wrist support is fantastic, the shape of this keyboard prevents fatigue and aches.

The colors are so vibrant, the multiple custom pattern choices and reactive keys are fantastic. The OLED display is so much fun, make me feel like a kid. The app allows you to customize the entire thing from patterns to reactive keys and OLED etc. the app is very easy to use, customization is endless.

The keys feel very quality and smooth, the clicks are satisfying though a bit loud. But overall very quality keyboard that’s entertaining, comfortable and satisfying, highly recommend.

I'll admit I don't like the design, but the good qualities of the keyboard have won me over. The keyboard looks like one of the base keyboards for people to customize. The keys and switches are upraised by quite a lot, and I prefer more ergonomic and lower profile keys. However, it does feel like it has good switches and it feels well built.

Pros:
- The colored lights change color from left to right. Can't change it, but it is visually pleasing effect.
- The switches and keys are upraised, so no need to pull the keys off to clean out dust and fur.
- Feels really good to type.
- Detachable wrist rest.
- Responsive switches.

Neither good or bad:
- It has strong magnets along the bottom of the keyboard. I haven't tried to open it up to see if they can be removed. So beware putting sensitive devices near the bottom of the keyboard.
- Small keyboard (when the wrist rest is not attached). Useful if you have limited space and/or small hands.
- No indented groove between the caps lock key and the A key, so it is easier to accidentally hit the caps lock when using WASD for a game.
- Could probably replace the keys with other keys or custom keys.
- It isn't as loud as a mechanical keyboard, but isn't as quiet as other quiet keyboards I've used.

Cons:
- The symbols of the keys have poor transparency, so even though the lighting is bright it can be hard to see the symbols in the dark.
- The matte paint on the keys absorb oils from the hands very well and become discolored within a few hours of use.

The keyboard is amazing. It has per key illumination which the software is very cool with.
It gets recognised by signal rgb software so it syncs everything together.
The feel is good it has mechanical clicks with membrane so doesn't feel like your bottoming out the keys.
