Dangerous!!
I believe a lot of these 5-star reviews are after their first use as I, too, was loving this product the first time I used it. The second time it spat out a little mist of hot water sometimes but it was okay....now for the third time....WOW look what happened to the finish of my side table when the boiling water poured out 😭 the second picture shows how much came out as I had it filled to just under the max line...this is NOT worth it as you also need to read the description that it can only be used vertically so you need to be able to hang your clothes, not on an ironing board/surface. Sure, it's travel sized, but find a different product that won't burn you and boil your belongings.

I was very impressed that Hilife Steamer sent me a new unit to replace the one which did not remove creases, as they said it was defective. Please disregard previous photos as the steamer is speedy, effective, yet removes creases very well. I did not know that the water was supposed to boil so hard as it was my first steamer.
I redid my pillow case, the dress and some other items and am fully satisfied with this tiny powerhouse of a steamer. It was boiling, but did not burn the cloth when I touched the fabric directly. Nor did I get a burn when some water dropped out due to my inattention when I did not put it down to get another hanger. Which you should really do as it boils hard and fast. Yet I was able to steam a robe, 2 long dresses & a pillow case with one go.
My beautiful cat loved the hot, pressed pillowcase, so she is in the photo. :-)
It is super efficient to have this steamer on hand for those days I did not iron but need a certain top or pair of jeans. It is easy to fill and is hot to go in just over a minute. And compact for travel.
