I am not an expert fisherman, I just do it for fun so my knowledge is rather limited. What I can say is that these leaders are well built. The swivels and the clasps work as they are supposed to. The leader line is strong enough for the casual fishing trip. I have been using them out on salt water and they hold pretty well. I have had no issues with rust on any of the metal parts (swivels and clasps). The leader line, I'm not sure what it is made of. Does not seem to be steel but I am not sure. In the end, it works fine. I have not had any of them to snap or rust. They do what they are supposed to do, at least for the average fisherman. They are what I needed and they are well priced too.

These leaders are made with descent quality components. The swivels spin effortlessly and seem solid. The clasps are easily opened and closed but are secure when closed. The wire is thin, with a good coating on it and the loops in the wire are well lashed and sealed. The wire seems to resist memory when bent around and returns to being straight. I find that kids have less issues with the clasps used on these leaders but it is difficult to find quality leaders that use this style. I fish for mostly speckled trout, lake trout and small mouth bass but the recent appearance of pike in the lakes I fish has forced us to start using leaders or risk losing lures. We have noticed a slight decrease in the catch rate with leaders vs no leader. The smaller profile of these leaders should lessen the impact. At the time of my review the cost of these leader is $10 for a pack of 50. With the quality at that price I would recommend.

This is a great set of steel leaders perfect for toothy fish like salmon and walleye. The sharp teeth on these fish will cut through a fluorocarbon or monofilament line, so a metal leader is absolutely needed for these fish.

The set comes with a different set of lengths of leader which allows you to adjust your leader length based on the type of lure you use or technique. I personally really liked the 20cm length. Which is nice compromise I find, which doesn’t affect the action of lure too much and doesn’t add alot of weight.

Each leader comes pre installed with a barrel swivel on one side and a snap swivel on the other. The barrel helps prevent against line twist while the snap swivel allows for quick lure changes.

Overall this is a great set of leaders and the price is great to boot! Highly recommend

This 50-piece leader line set from NICECRAFT is a pretty good value. The product description page is vague when it comes to what the leader line is made of but it is not stainless steel wire. The line is a nylon material. I tested its tensile strength by giving it some good yanks with both hands on one end and the other fastened to a table vice. The entire leader assembly held just fine. The swivels are a bog standard variety and will work for a very long time. The B-snaps have plenty of tension in them and these feel like stainless steel. In another test, I found I could crimp the leader line quite easily if I folded it in half, but after several times folding it back and forth, the nylon did not fatigue and snap. I’d say overall, these are some good leaders and 50 of them should keep me in the reeds for a nice, long time.

The fishing season is over currently, so I have not tested these on the water or with a fiesty fish yet. But, my initial impression of these wire leaders is positive. Comes with multiple lengths are 10 leaders of each length. I tested them by connecting the snaps and join two long leaders, then wrapping the wire around my gloved hand and pulling and twisting violently. Happy to report the both the wires and the snaps have held up with no signs of bending or twisting. I will be using these in the spring while fishing for pike, which are toothy and aggressive, so these leaders will be tested and I will update if there is any change to my initial impression. So far, these appear to be strong and offer a good value.
