I was looking for a stool to play guitar on, as the seats I have at home are either to low, to high or have arms on them and get in the way. I came across this on sale and decided to give it a try. I have to say I was totally surprised when it arrived. I'm 5'9" and it is the perfect height for me, if I rest my foot on the bottom rung it keeps my leg at the perfect angle to prevent the guitar from sliding off and its not to high that my chin is resting on it. The picture doesn't do this justice, it looks a little flimsy in the photo, but it is built extremely well and holds 225lbs no problem. The built in guitar stand is a bonus, my only concern is there is elastic "waist band" material that holds the neck of the guitar in place against the seat, I'm not sure at this point how it will wear over time.

This stool arrived very quickly and was as described. There are 2 foot rests (rungs) contrary to some of the photos of the product. This allows a choice of foot placement that makes good sense. I quickly modified the stool which I knew I would when I made the purchase. I used a tube cutter to cut 1.5 inches off each leg to bring the height down. This made customizing the stool height very easy. Next I purchase a scrap piece of leather hide from Tandy to cover the seat and make a padded foot rest for bare foot comfort. I purchased 2 foam pads each a different density that the local foam store provided. The store had many different options available so I took the stool there and tried them all to select the combination that worked the best for me. They were both 2 inches thick and are compacted slightly under the leather cover. I did try memory foam as an option but it collapsed down to nothing under my pressure points so it failed my test. The foam easily cut to size and the leather was stapled to the provided seat base. I am very very happy with the customized result. Note that I often custom modify purchases to better suit my needs so I had intended to modify this item when I bought it. All may guitars rest well in the fold out guitar rests without using the funky elastic band meant for securing the instruments so I don't know if that feature is any good.

I am really really pleased with my stool. I spent ages reading reviews of various guitar stools and finally settled on this one. It’s exceeded my expectations. It’s really well made, comes pre-assembled, I was expecting to have to get a screwdriver out but no- it’s ready to go out of the box. Perfect height for me - I’m about 5’10”. The seat is padded enough to be comfortable. The stool folds almost flat for easy storage and the built-in guitar stand works fine. Overall I am extremely pleased with this and glad I chose this stool - I highly recommend it.

La posición para tocar un buen rato es comodísima, nada que ver con tocar sentado en una silla con el típico taburete en el pie. El asiento es amplio y bien acolchado. Trae una pegatina que dice que tanto el forro como el relleno del taburete son ignífugos. El apoyo de los pies es perfecto, tanto para un pie como para los 2 e incluso en la posición con lo pies extendidos me resulta muy cómoda gracias a la altura del asiento. El soporte de guitarra perfecto, bien acolchado y con diferentes cogidas para guitarras eléctricas o de caja. En el apoyo del mástil tiene una comilla para sujetarlo y que no pueda volcar. En las posiciones de plegado y abierto dispone de un pestillo bajo el asiento que impide que se pueda plegar en un sentido u otro mientras no pulses este pestillo. Un taburete profesional que si le dedicas horas a tocar no deberías pensarte por el precio que tiene.
