Good fit, easy to install, and much grippier than expected from other reviews. Not slippery to my dry hands, but maybe once it collects more dust? Nice and clear for now, showing off the blue back of the Pixel 8pro, as well as the polished metal trim of the handset. Looks fantastic!

All port cut-outs are good, and the screen/camera lips are sufficient to protect the phone laying down on either face. Requires removal to get at the SIM card, but with eSIM who cares?

EDIT: Update after 5-weeks of travel/use: Still grippy, even in the wet. Looks fantastic, and saved my phone when it was accidentally pushed off a table onto concrete. Getting a spare one while they're still available, for replacement use in a couple of years.

This is only day 1 but I felt I had to write a positive review of the Pixel 8 Pro case (clear) by Spigen. You can tell that they collaborated with Google on this. The case protects the phone on all sides and keeps the glass front from touching surfaces. The have switched the singular volume control into a separate up and down volume button. I haven't tried the phone camera out yet but the design is brilliant!

Fits perfectly and offers great protection. However, I really dislike that there is text on two of the sides. I also find the window on the back strange. Also, the bottom cutout for the charging cable is a bit sharp and digs into my finger as I hold my phone.

First ever clear case and so I'm a bit surprised by how many fingerprints it shows. Adds a nice grip to the phone. Feels well protected - just what I expect from a Spigen case.

Buttons work well.

I assume durability will live up to the Spigen name.

No idea of it'll yellow in the future but most clear cases do. Update, a month in and still not yellowed. Finger print magnet though

I decided to try a clear case this time. The case is sturdy and fits my Pixel 8 Pro perfectly. I drop my phones frequently and have already dropped this phone a couple of times with no effect on the phone. The power button is textured so it is easily distinguishable from the volume buttons. The volume up and down buttons are also easy to distinguish. I have had no problems with USB port access. The case has openings for the camera and the raised edges provide additional protection to the camera. The case is hard and sturdy but has enough grip to prevent it from feeling slippery. I like the sleek but protective look of the case but it does show fingerprints with frequent use.
