Bought to hold work ID off pants belt loop. Very heavy compared to similar products I looked at in store. The cable is coated which I like/hope it’ll prevent corrosion and not crack off over time. The retracting mechanism is pretty strong and will hold a heavy amount of keys without pulling out on its own. I highly recommend not letting it retract freely as it can be quiet fast, and may injure you depending on the angle of approach… ( I got myself good one time and learned my lesson).

The quality finish is excellent. However, After 6 months of nonstop vigorous usage for my work, the nylon sheeth around the metal wire fell apart and the wire begun to fray rendering it inoperable.

I'm hoping spigen will send me a new unit because structurally, it's very solid. Nothing snapped off like some of the other reviewers shown.

I paired this up with a keysmart mini and I have it clicked to my backpack its a god send as I no longer have to fish in my pocket to find the correct key. It hangs there waiting for me and allows me to open the door with one hand even when wearing winter gloves. When I am done the keys simply retract back to there spot and back out of the way. No removing the gloves and fiddling with a pocket. The cable seems very sturdy and they keys never lower themselves.

Clip is reliable and easy to clip on and off but you never worry it'll come off on it's own. With Constantly pulling and use, it never got weaker. Unfortunately I somehow knicked the cord itself and the braided metal frayed and eventually broke. My partner has the same one, and theirs broke around the same time from dropping it so user error on that end. Definitely ordering again!
