PROS++Good design, aesthetically pleasing.+Protective++Smart cuttouts for triggers and buttons, no issues with trigger rubbing case or sharp edges on trigger cuttoutsCONS--Slightly bad fit, gaps by triggers, holes on top not centered.- Angled design, mildly uncomfortable.- No cover on power and volume buttons making them oddly inset and as a result of this, the whole strip of plastic above the screen is rather flimsy- A little bulky, fits bad in oem case especially with thumb caps which i find essential to comfortable steam decking.I've tried a few cases, and I'm split between this bad boy and that generic one which several brands have been pumping out. Yes, that one, im serious! It fits the best, is smooth to the touch and fits nicely in the original case. Just needs a little cut behind triggers to not scrape.This one is aesthetically nicer, but the generic lame one is better on all fronts.

Perfect fit with the Steamdeck. It does snap perfectly all arround and simply doesn't move and feel like a really good quality. Grip is nice, material feel good and is not a dust magnet at all. Overall look really nice and fit the device like if it was made by Valve for the device.

It does fit inside the official steamdeck case properly. It still fit the SteamDock but do not perflectly sit in the slot and need the USB-C cable to keep it on the dock. Still look good on the dock and I prefer the added protection.

Absolutely no regret.

Spigen cases are always solid and this is no different. It looks good, provides good protection (love that it covers the whole tob and bottom), and the side grips are subtle but very nice.. Plus it fits in the original case!

For me there are no downsides, but the only one I could think of is that this case doesn't have a kickstand and the design on the back might make it tricky to find a good stick on kick stand. I will only be using this handheld so again, not an issue for me.

(Pre-amble) I worked for a national electronics company for a few years and got to see all kinds of cases and manufacturers for phones over the seasons. Phones in Spigen cases never seemed to have any serious damage we had to deal with so I grabbed a case for my LG G8 ThinQ when I bought that. It's been 3+ years and perhaps hundreds of drops and my phone is still in great shape, the case too!

Since I've had some satisfied years with a Spigen case on my phone I trusted that the product would be decent quality, even if the price seemed low for the size of the Deck. But between the brand, the price, the looks, and the fact that it fits inside the standard carrying case the Spigen choice seemed right.

I'm happy to report that the design is definitely good quality for the price and the materials don't feel cheap or "throw away". On my version of the Deck (the fast memory one with the fancy glass thing) the fit is perfect and, as promised, sits easily in Valve's provided travel case.

I am a big fan of Spigen products and I was not disappointed. The price is reasonable and the quality of materials is good. I found the fit to be excellent, the cutouts precise and it gave the the deck a way much better feel to the bare plastic. (Found bare unit to be somewhat slippery)

The best thing is that the steam deck fits in my OEM case and 3rd party dock.

I am not one who plays hours on end so I can’t comment on extended use of the deck with the skin on.
