I can edit anytime from my phone and it updates immediately on the big screen. We have 7 people who all use the calendar and it works for us. Especially because we have a big family. Bought this after installing Amazon Echo Show and attempting to use it for an hour. Sent the Show back as it in no way should be considered a digital calendar. This however immediately was intuitive and easy to synch schedules and update. The display is like a calendar I know to state that is weird but clearly, anyone who has reviewed or helped design the Echo Show hasn't used a calendar before.

While the concept is cool, if you have Rogers/Shaw internet in your home (like 50% of Canadians) this product likely won’t be compatible.

After 2 hours on the phone with both Skylight and Shaw, and losing internet completely in my home for over an hour while trying to set up an unsecured 2.4 GHz network, Shaw rep managed to get it connected. Skylight tech help was not helpful at all. They just tell you how to factory reset which it holding down the two volume buttons together….they should just put that on their website.

It stayed connected for about 24h and was a just OK device.

I do not recommend this product because of its wifi instability and am returning it today.

My husband and I have a simple parenting philosophy - we are raising adults, and our job as parents is to help our kids be independent in age-appropriate ways. This is especially important now that our oldest is attending a local college while living at home and our son is a junior in high school with an active club and athletics schedule.

We have been looking for a way to stay organized and keep everyone informed of school holidays, evening events, doctors appointments and chore responsibilities. We had a shared family calendar online, which addressed some of our needs, but did not allow us to include selected items from my husband’s calendar and mine. We also struggled to track our kid’s chores and have them feel responsible for completing without reminders or nagging from us.

The Skylight calendar has solved those challenges beautifully. The calendar was very easy to set up and looks good in our kitchen and is intuitive to use. It was simple to set up and sync to our existing calendars, everything auto-populates seamlessly. We now review the calendar together after dinner to get organized for the next day and make sure there are no panicked calls for rides to or from school events that had not made it to the family calendar online. We are just getting started with the chore tracker, the calendar makes it easy to assign chores and track their completion. So far it’s been invaluable for organization and has reduced nagging.

I wish we had this calendar a few years ago! It's brought simplicity and clarity to coordinating our family's hectic schedule. I highly recommend it to other busy families who want to stay organized in an easy and elegant way. This would also make a great holiday gift.

This is an excellent product for ensuring everyone in the household knows the daily, weekly or monthly activities. The chores function is excellent for allocating tasks. The reminders works well. My only two criticisms are the time zone cannot be amended, so the weather feature is limited to the USA. I also did not expect a US plug, which is unsuitable for the UK power outlet and having to use an adaptor is not ideal. It was specified on the manufacturer's website that the plug provided would be compatible with the relevant country. I would still recommend this product.
