I am an amateur photographer who takes a lot of portraits for friends and family and does an occasional paid shoot. I currently am building my lens collection. To be honest, when I want top quality portraits I usually go with my 85 mm prime lens.
However, when I am out and about with my family and want to capture good candid shots, or am taking photos for my school (I am a teacher by profession), I use this lens. The photo quality is very sharp, the color is great. I am very happy with the functionality of this zoom lens. I would not hesitate recommending this lens for those who are on a bit of a budget over the competition. My experience with this lens has made seriously consider the Sigma 70-200 mm 2.8 Sport as a budget alternative to the Sony's version II of the same lens.

Best value lens in 24-70 2.8 range
First impression, the box is damaged, dented, lens cap is dusty inside the clear plastic bag, this is why a 4 stars, not happy. Front and rear elements are brand new, lens mount has no sign of used. Built quality is excellent, zoom ring has good resistance, good enough to use one finger to turn focus ring when manual focus. Use 82mm filter, but I probably won’t put a filter on it. For the price and performance, you can’t go wrong with this copy. I use this 24-70 2.8 on Sony A7iii

I’m sure the lens is great, but similar to other reviews the seller sent a clearly used and slightly damaged lens. Lens arrives with some dents and scratches and was actually slightly sticky (gross). Lens probably would have been fine, but when you’re paying for a new lens, you expect a new lens to arrive. Returned promptly and will be avoiding seller in the future.

La calidad del lente es excelente, tiene muy buena nitidez, el desenfoque que realiza se mira excelente, yo lo uso en mi sony alpha 6000. Solo lo he usado para fotografía, para video solo unas pequeñas pruebas y se mira muy bien tambien
El único inconveniente es que si es muy pesado, es cuestión de acostumbrarse, si el peso no es un problema para lo que ofrece, es un excelente lente
La aberración cromática si está presente pero no es nada exagerado, sólo en apertura amplias y aun así no son problema
