The top comes off for carrying plus you can fit other items underneath. So far it seems like a very sturdy, well built cart, but we'll see how it holds up over time.

I bought this for my father who recently gave up driving. Since he is 93 and lives in a condo, he gets easily tired after we go grocery shopping. We pack the groceries nicely in the bottom and top of the cart and all his fruit is protected and won’t get squished by other groceries. As he is stubborn and wouldn’t let me carry them up; this makes him still feel useful. He likes it and likes how easy it is collapse.
