The Shilajit capsules contain Fulvic acid and trace minerals. Fulvic acid has several health benefits.This is a Canadian manufactured product. The bottle I received has the NPN number on it. These 2 things gives me extra confidence in it.I have been taking the product for several weeks now. I have not had any issues arise. Supplements typically take some time for their benefits to become apparent. At this point, there has been some small improvements. I also appreciate that this product is a powder in capsule form.

- Shalajit is a supplement that comes from rocks in the Himalayas. Sounds fancy already. One thing you have to watch out for is that there are a lot of fake shalajit supplements out there, and some of them are dangerous because they contain heavy metals. This one, however, seems pretty legit. The product descriptions says "we also refine our blend to ensure it is free of mercury and other heavy metals." It also says they are batch tested, although not by a third party which would increase the legitimacy of the testing.

- The medium sized brown pills are fairly easy to swallow. I didn't notice and unpleasant aftertaste or side effects from taking them.

- Unfortunately the Natural Product Number licensing information is missing from the Amazon.ca description and the bottle I received. I was able to find a number listed on the company's own website, which is 80108910, and there is actually a valid license registered with Health Canada under the name "Zurich Pharma Inc. o/a Medicap Laboratories". However, it is weird and disconcerting that it isn't printed on the bottle itself, so I have to deduct one star for this. Hopefully they sort this out with later shipments.

I've been taking shilajit for a while now and this is the first time i have bought it in the capsule form as compared to the resin I usually use. I found with the resin product there was always a weird aftertaste and a little bit of stomach discomfort after. With this brand its only been a few days but so far so good. Its much easier to take and I don't get the aftertaste or any of the stomach issues I had previously. Will continue taking these for the next month or until I run out.
