I found this video conference light to be way more convenient than those massive ring style lights that you need to find space for on your desk and run a super long USB cord to your laptop. I can easily fit it in my bag and take it to work. The only steps required to use it is to 1) turn it on and 2) clip it onto your laptop screen. Done.
It's light weight and won't drag down your screen (if it has hinge problems) and the clamp is strong enough that it stays in place. The clamp also has rubber cushioning which prevents it from scratching or damaging the device it is clamped on to. (Note that if your phone has a film screen protector, it will leave a depression.) The light itself supports use with tripods via the 1/4 threaded slot. It also comes with a 1/4" screw adapter that allows the light to be used at a different angle.
In terms of usage, it is very easy and intuitive to use that the manual is frankly optional. There's buttons for adjusting brightness (5 in total) and there's buttons for adjusting color temperature (5 in total also). The highest brightness is literally blinding and I normally only use it at about 2/5. At this level, the battery easily lasts an entire workday even if it's filled with meetings. I love that I can set the white balance warmer or cooler depending on the environment. It actually looks more natural than the ring lights which tend to reflect a halo in your eyes.
My only complaint is that it looks and feels rather cheap and the plastic quality isn't the highest. That said, it works really well and hit all its advertised checkboxes. It's also quite affordable which makes it a great option to have if you need to brighten up your face for a video call.

Cons:
- Unit feels a little cheap especially with the buttons at the back for adjusting the warmth/brightness levels.
- Battery can die fairly quickly when set to a higher brightness level last about 2.5 hours or so
Conclusion: For the price point this is a solid option for providing a nice bright LED light for streaming/video chat/photos etc. It has a lot of options for warmth and brightness levels and can be mounted to virtually anything. 4/5 I recommend this product.

When I ordered this selfie light, I didn't realize just how versatile it really is. Its 5 light modes and variable brightness is perfect for most applications. It comes with a clip to use in on your cell phone and with a shoe that fits cameras with top mounted lights.
After playing with this selfie light for a while, I wanted to try it with an older digital camera I have. I use this camera often for closeup shots but the built-in flash is not the best for many photos. Although this camera is not designed to use a top mounted light, it does have a tripod mount on it. Using a camera swivel that I had laying around, I was able to mount the light below the camera. See photo. This is working great!
