What is the eufyCam 2C Pro system compatible with? The eufyCam 2C Pro uses HomeBase 2 as its hub. It is compatible with eufyCam, eufyCam E, and eufy entry sensors.

Other than 1 camera at one of the locations they seem always to alarm when some one comes in view. This 1 camera seems to not react instantly on occasions. Bought this in conjunction with a doorbell and homebase.
It was delivered quickly and well packaged with everything you need to get started.
Pairing it to the homebase is very easy, and full instructions are provided.
Installation was a breeze. Drill a couple of holes, screw the bracket to the wall with the provided hardware, Screw the camera to the mounting bracket, adjust the tilt, and you are all set.
Overall I am very happy with it, but I deducted one star from my rating because of the following:
The camera comes with printed instructions to walk you through the installation and set up but no printed instructions for the software that you use to adjust and control it. This you have to figure out yourself, or search the internet for help and tips. Like most apps you download them and then fumble your way through them. It would be nice if you could get a printed document (or downloadable document) that would explain all of the features with step by step instructions on how to use and adjust them all. I guess I'm just too old school to be content with clicking everything and trying it all to find out what it does.
Also the motion detection can be a bit over sensitive. You can adjust the zone so that it only responds to movement in a designated area, but even though I adjusted it to see only up to the end of my drive, it still triggers at night when cars drive past on the road. I have moved it back a little further than I would like to prevent this.
Another thing is that it can be a bit slow to notify. Sometimes it sends a notification, but when you watch the video you only see the bit where the person/car is leaving the shot. It doesn't always record from the instant the the person/car enters the field of view/motion detection area.
Other than these point it is a very good little camera with lots of settings and functions.
Though it doesn't require any subscription you can pay for extra coverage if you want. Otherwise everything is recorded to the homebase.
A few notes that I thought might be worth mentioning.
Firstly you will need a homebase. I bought a doorbell with homebase and added this to that homebase.
Secondly you will need to install the camera within WIFI range of the homebase. You should definately consider this when purchasing as you may need to relocate your homebase or buy a WIFI booster of some kind.
Finally, you will need a good data plan if you want to watch videos when you are away from home. At home you can use your WIFI connection to your home internet (which will also need a good data plan, mine is unlimited) to view videos, but when you away from home you will need either access to another WIFI, or a good data plan on your phone as viewing the video will eat into your data very quickly.

I have been using these for more than 6 months and it's overall even better than I expected.
Honestly, the battery life has blown me away. It's a high resolution video camera with 24/7 motion detection. I'm using fairly high settings that I'm aware affect battery life. If they lasted even 2-3 weeks between charges, I'd be happy but I'm truly getting MONTHS consistently. Incredible engineering.
The mobile app is decent. Easy to navigate. Notifies immediately on motion detection and includes snapshots. Quick and easy to see the recordings. Easy to mute notifications for a period of time. All great features I use regularly and works the way I expect.
Night vision and motion detection is decent. I've seen other cameras that will constantly be triggering if there's a spider web close to the camera. These triggered when the spider was there making the web, but not after that, and still detected true motion activity.
Really my only issue is that the motion detection is not good for someone walking directly toward or away from the camera. I'm limited on the mount location above a narrow path. It fails to detect people walking along there frequently. When at other angles they detect well.

I purchased 2 of those cameras directly from Eufy, they work great,
however the one I purchased here from Amazon looks like it has a different (older) system and subsystem versions from the others - even though it is marked exactly as the same model, which affects its functionality
and most importantly battery life - the battery is dead only 1-2 months after a full charge! And this is after making sure to set the relevant boundaries to not cause excess recordings etc', and I barely even live-play it.
Very disappointing that you buy the same product yet you don't know what you'll end up getting.
