How do the cameras connect to the internet?

The camera is pre-paired with the Aosu homebase. Connecting it to both the router and homebase using Ethernet ensures a stable network connection. The homebase also acts as a Wi-Fi signal transmitter, providing wide coverage on a 2.4GHz frequency.

How efficient is the solar panel for charging?

The Aosu's solar security camera can operate all day after just 2 hours of direct sunlight charging. Efficiency depends on sunlight intensity, so installing it in direct sunlight is recommended for maximum charging efficiency.

Does it support 24/7 monitoring?

Due to the camera relying on battery power, it cannot achieve 24-hour continuous recording. The design aims to effectively record events while extending the battery's lifespan.

Can I use the homebase for other Aosu cameras? Is it compatible with Apple HomeKit?

Currently, the Aosu homebase supports only the same model of Aosu cameras, not other Aosu products, and is compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant. Support for Apple HomeKit is still in development, so stay tuned for future updates.

These camera is such a great buy . Not disappointed at all . It was packages well and instructions were clear. We hooked them up and were amazed how well the quality was. I love that it has 5g connection and human recognition. I got the home-base with it so no extrapayment . Would highly recommend . Few days of trying to figure out the proper setting and rebooting my modem . Works great thanks to customer service which was a big help and responded quickly.

Bought the cameras on a boxing day sale, set them up and they worked beautifully for about a week then the homebase quit working on us. After getting in contact with customer service they sent us a whole new set. I set the new one up and it's been working awesome. Ice to have wireless besides the connection wire to the solar panel. Having it solar powered actually quite nice! The battery like has always remained fully charged, and that's even with the -50 temperatures we have gotten here in alberta. The video quality is awesome and the talking features work great. I would recommend these cameras 100% easy to set up and after my lemon I had which every product out there has, these are working fantastic. Would buy again forsure

This has absolutely everything I was looking for!

Pros:

- The solar power works great, batteries seem to have lots of power.

- Easy set-up (more on that later).

- You don’t need a stoopid cloud account set up (but they do offer one for a cost, if that’s what you’re into), because you can store the videos into this hub router they supply which is hooked up to the cameras via wifi (this data can then be transferred to your phone via your internet).

- You can choose privacy zones and detection zones (very handy). It’s detection methods are smart and you can select what kinds of things you want it to detect (e.g. humans).

- Customer service was amazing (they must have been paying attention to the reviews because they upped their game here). They responded through their chat built into the app within a minute and had me on my way after some useful tips. Very friendly too.

- Video quality is good enough (doesn’t really pick up license plates though but this isn’t state of the art here either)

- The app has tons of options and so far is very responsive.

Cons:

- So be sure not to install your camera before first upgrading the firmware because I found out, after talking with their tech support, that you need them to have like 100% connection with their hub. I literally had to put two of them directly on the hub to get them to update. The other two updated fine being a separate room of the house.

- The hub (they named “basehome”) needs to be plugged directly into your internet router, which means, you might not have it perfectly in a central spot as to where you are going to set up your cameras. They do connect without issue at a maximum of about 50’ from the hub (depending on how many obstructions there are), but any further than this and the signal is under 50% and the cameras don’t function well streaming live, if at all. I had to make do with one camera like this but it still sends recorded videos to the hub which can transfer to my phone and I do still get notifications when it does pick up a strong enough signal.

All in all, this is a great package for the price and super stoked that I don’t have to wire anything into the house and not have to worry about batteries. I just installed this yesterday so I will update my review if anything changes.

Well I bought the 2 pack of these, then realized I need another one , so bought another one. So far after almost 3 months I must say they work Great. Had few issues at first and Aosu was very helpful when I needed some help. I needed a charging cable extension so Aosu returned some money to me to purchase a 3m extension which was Great. Took me some time to finally get the solar panels in a Sweet spot in my yard, since I have many trees to the south of me, and also getting them where the wifi signal was the strongest. that's Important. You have to remember what the camera sees is not the motion sensor area. that's on a different angle, figured that out eventually. The higher they are the better for achieving that motion angle otherwise the cameras have to be tilted up more instead of level. You can set the camera viewing area too which I just left it full screen. Played with that feature a bit but figured leave it alone. The solar panels have kept them 100% charged. You don't need lots of bright sun and a few cloudy days is ok since they will charge up the next sunny day. This is the best feature. No batteries to replace. Since they are working for me I think I will be getting another one for my crawlspace so I can keep an eye on what's happening down there with sump pumps and such. Well worth the investment these cameras.

First I wanted to try to see how good the solar compare to wired camera. Turns out the camera is perfect, its notify you when there is movements. So you know right away who is in front of your house.

And top of that Aosu customer service is 2nd to none. Right inside the Aosu App there is Customer support. You can chat and get replied from Aosu within hours.

During using the camera there one defect and after chatting with customer service agent, they sent me the replacement right away.

Definitely tell my friend and family try out Aosu.

We bought this for our home since we are not in a heavily populated area. It is perfect- it is everything that they advertise it to be. It is relatively easy to upload- you just upload the app and it walks you through all the steps. They have wonderful customer service folks who really care and want to you help you so don't be afraid to ask for help. This product is amazing with an amazingly low price. The night vision for us is mostly black and white but all the images are very sharp and clear. The color pictures/videos during the day are absolutely breathtaking. You have plenty options; you can zoom in and manually record videos to be uploaded on your cell phone gallery. It stores lots of files - one minute for each video, but it keeps recording by creating another video. It records based on moving and heat temperature. It is everything they promise it to be. The recordings and uploaded like files on a computer. You can see great expanses of your property, but it only picks up and records on about 50 ft from the camera. We have one of the cameras loaded on a tree, far from the house, but it still picks it up. You must keep camera in the shade (under the eaves of your roof as stated in the directions), with the solar panel in the sun. However, one of our solar panels is mostly in the shade but it is still 80% charged. You can view everything from your cell phone, no matter how far away you are. The app is fantastic- it even tells you how much WiFi it has and how much battery life each solar panel has. This is one of the best products we have ever purchased on Amazon. We even bought one for our church, which is great since we recently had one of our HVAC units stolen from the back of the church. My sister-in-law is a widow and she bought one too. I love it, and you won't have any trouble getting help from customer service if you have any questions while installing - they are great to work with. They list phone numbers and there's a chat room you can use for your questions.

 Tout d'abord, sachez que je mets très rarement un commentaire sur un produit.
Un système de surveillance très bien fini pour le prix, je m'explique.
L'installation est très simple, il suffit de synchroniser la base avec les caméras et ça prend 5 mn.
Une fois installé, le logiciel est simple d'utilisation et assez lisible. Plusieurs possibilités, comme choisir une séquence comme absent de la maison, du coup les caméra se déclenchent dès la présence de personnes. Vous pouvez régler la distance, reconnaissance humaine ou tout mouvements, régler une zone précise, bref suffisant pour la surveillance.
La qualité d'image dépends de votre connexion wifi et internet, pour du uhd, wifi 5 minimum et un bon débit internet sinon vous avez une qualité d'image moins bonne.
L'enregistrement se fais directement un mouvement détecté et une notification sur votre téléphone.
Donc en résumé très satisfait du produit.
Maintenant je peux aussi juger le service après vente, suite a une des quatre cameras qui se déchargeait anormalement vite. J'ai pris contact avec le sav via l'appli et après quelques tests, le remplacement de cette caméra a été effectué en quatre jours par une caméra neuve. J'avais des appréhension sur la marque car je connaissais pas mais du coup agréablement surpris par la qualité du service.
Donc pour le prix et le service commercial , franchement hésiter pas.

La nueva actualizacion de la app es muy agradable y agregaron algunas cosas como multicamara, Botones rapido de seguridad inteligente asi puede configurar un modo estoy, en casa estoy fuera, apagar todo, encender todo con un click. Lapria de la base de 32Gb no sé cuanto tiempo puede acumular pero llevo ya un tiempo con las 4 cam y Solo el 1,4Gb. La calidad de video es respetable. De Noche si hay un poco de luz de biente como farolas es mejor quitar la luz infraroja. El tiempo ue tarda en avisar es muy rapido. Tiene un servicio de cloud nube conectada con reconocimiento facial de pago ahora en oferta durante el black frdy. Los videos que guarda se puede ordenar por fecha ascendere o descendente, se puede filtrar por tipo de evento. Puedes ordenar la vista general de las camaras y poner la camara que quieras mas arriba. El alcance de las camara con las vase es bueno. La base ella necesita estar cerca de un cable rj45 de "red local" o cerca del router para conectar por cable.l abase consume muy poco y trae un pequeño adaptador de enchufe a 12v. La luz azul de la vase es demasiado intenso de noche para mi gusto si tienes el router en donde duermes quizas debas poner un adhesivo para ocultar la luz de led de puesta en marcha de la base. Cuando una camara detecta un presencia se escucha un ligero click clack en su interior algun rele supongo por eso consumen tan poco y dura tanto la bateria.Los soporte y los paneles solar son de buena calidad. La puesta en marcha inicial es super simple. El altavoz de la camara tiene una calidad regular como todas estas tipo de camaras creo. Puede elgir un zona en la iamgen de la camara donde quieres que se detecte el movimeinto, muy comod si no quieres que grabe a cada vez que pasa alguien por un camino. Tiene tambien zona de privacidad por si por ejemplo graba delante de tu casa y se ve las ventanas de ña casa del vecino puede (y debe) tapar esta zona por pricacidad es logico igual que grabar la via publica es sentido común. Las camaras tiene definicion 2K o fluida la fluida es realmente lo bastante buena ñara cosas cercanas no hay diferencia. La 2K p
seria solo si la carama esta muy alta por ejemplo, en modo fluido se supone avisa más rapido pero no note mucha diferencia mabos son rapidos. La detecion de movimiento (sin suscripcion de nube) es ajustable por ejemplo solo Humanos para que no pite los gatos, tbien se puede ajustar su sensibilidad un pequeño esquema explica bien cual debes elegi o bien autoajuste. La xamara graba siempre los enventos pero solo envia notificacion al movil cuando tu quieres puede elgir franjas horarias, con un modo inmediatoas rapido pero detecta pero la diferencia entre humano y gato, y modo inteligente mejor pero un poco más lento (ambos son rapidos no hay mucha diferencia). Piede elegir para cada camara si grabar el sonido o no. Si el panel solar no carga bien la camara recibiras un aviso. Puedes compartir el acceso para ver las camaras con otras personas, deben instalar la app crear un cuenta luego tu les invitas desde tu apo agregando su email y listo. Puede activar o no la luz led que indica la puesta en marcha de la camara. Compatible con alexa y google asist. En lo detaille puede acerder nuemero de serie de la camara ver la intesidad de señal entre la base y la camara, borrar eventos locales, cambiar el nombre de la camara. En informe de la homa base puede ver cuanto memoria estas usando de la base cuantas camara hay comectada a esa base. Hay un apartado de actualizacion de firmware que te avisa si es necesario es super simñle solo seguir lo que indica la app. Hay una opcion de inicio rapido que te indica como configurar todo eso y te guía pero realmente no es tan complicado y la app es agradable no creo que a nadie se le complique eso. Hay un opcion la desvincular una camara en caso necesario. La base tiene supropio apartado donde puede cambiar wl nombre ver si cañacidad de almacenamient. Hay un paragado de servico tecnico como un chat en la app atiende bien no responde super rapido pero es razonable y por loenos te responde que otros ni eso. It’s only been a couple of weeks, but these cameras seem to be working fine. The setup was easy, and our cameras were up and running fairly quickly. Each camera can be turned on and off separately via the app, or turned on or off all at once. There are many options in the settings and motion events are saved in the app. You have the option to save live views, but you need to click record which saves the video to your camera roll.

I read that you cannot add anymore cameras to the app after this set of 4, but I also purchased a PTZ camera of the same brand, and I am able to view this in the app as well.

The picture is clear and it can auto adjust depending on lighting, if you select this setting. I also like the 2-way talk feature.

I encountered an issue the other day — the app wasn’t working, even after updating. I contacted customer service via the app and they were extremely responsive. It turned out that the app does not work when I am using my work wifi. Once I used cellular data, the app was operable again.

I recommend this brand and I am very happy with both the cameras and customer service.
