I opened the package in hopes to repair one of my Nintendo switch joycons when I was surprised to see there was a dent in the metal base of the screwdriver. Knowing it wouldn't affect the overall screwing ability I carried on to attempt to unscrew the screws. Turned out that the tip was extremely dull and wouldn't even unscrew the first screw on my joycon. I instantly requested a refund. Not worth your time or money.

Just writing to confirm this does indeed work on the screws holding together GameCube controllers. I deducted one star because the little rubber grip isn’t attached very securely to the body of the screwdriver and so it spins if you’re trying to grip it and unscrew a stubborn screw. This is a very minor grievance. Otherwise it’s as advertised for me.

I just received this today & tried it out. The Y tip is precise & fits the Joy-Con Nintendo Switch controller screws perfectly. The rubber grip is soft & feels comfortable but slips a bit on rotation.
Now, the bad… it’s advertised as having a magnetic tip & that’s completely false. I almost lost the screw finding that out. Not impressed!
It’s something I love for all my tools, especially when working with such small, precise pieces. So, 2 stars because I don’t reward dishonesty & that’s one of the main reason I bought it.
