I like the form of this monitor and it's menu but I'm disappointed by the image quality.Compare to my other monitor, this one loose its contrast pretty fast when you start looking at the screen from an angle. You have to be straight in front to see the real colors. But because the 32" is kind of big, when you are looking straight at the center, the colors are okayish but the edge of the screen loose its contrast since we see this area at an angle. Specially if you have a dual monitor where you don't sit in front of it.You can see on the pictures attached how the gradient changes. Darker spot is exactly in front of the camera and when we looked away the contrast changes.I'm working a lot with images and it's a real issue when the images are full screen. What's directly in front of me and what's on the edge of the screen change a lot. These 2 images are using the same gradient, just different photo position.I used a SpyderX Pro to calibrate it and even with that my lower budget monitor appear to have a better color range and fidelity. I cannot make them both look the same..I guess it's okay if you are not too picky about colors and just want to play games but it's a bit of a let down for me for this price.

I remember the days when a 1440p IPS monitor with 60Hz costed on the sketchiest of cheap brands costing more than this, how far we've come.

To the more serious review: The TL;DR is I truly think this monitor is amazing for the price point. The color, the quality, viewing angles, etc, all meets or exceed expectation. The only problem comes when you have to switch channels (regularly), and it's always a bit of hassle + sometimes doesn't work until unplugged and plugged again.

I can only speak to my own experience, but I'd wager if I didn't have to switch channels on a daily basis (work laptop to PS4 and PC), this is an easy 5 star for me. People pick on minor problems in review, but the fact is almost all monitors have quirks, and as long as they get the job done with quality exceeding its price point, it should be a 5 star. The new version I got also seems to have a solid power cable that has no problem staying in - I've seen older reviews mentioning that problem.

I've used 4k monitors since 2016 and churned through 4 different 4k ones. I can say the quality on this one is amazing for its price. And if I had a hard time finding something like this in the US - usually much cheaper electronics than Canada, it's a great deal. (I live and work in US now, but come back home to Canada once in a while)

With all that said, I have to give it a 4 star because the problem I experience isn't a simple quirk such as their "single menu button / stick" design which makes interacting a bit more annoying. The problem is often times, when I switch channels away from my macbook pro / work laptop to PS4, I cannot switch it back successfully - it's just black and hops to different channels after a lil bit. The fix I found, NOT ONLY requires unplugging / replugging the cable, but have to be a DIFFERENT USB port on the laptop. Such a weird bug, and I'm glad I found a "relatively" quick solution which I don't mind doing on a daily basis - replugging the laptop usb isn't much work. But this degrades my trust in the monitor working properly over long term, and worry for others who experience similar problems may not have as an easy of a fix as I do.

If this ever stop working, I'd drop it straight down to a 1-3 star depending on when, but for the time being, not only is it a 4 star for me, I'd say it's close to a 5 star even with the issue I have to deal with on the daily basis.

I bought this knowing it could fall so i took some precautions ( i taped the back of the monitor for now) , i could pierce a hole and add a screw to fix it but other than that the picture quality is amazing, and i like the setting button even if its probably super fragile, also i tried the hdr mode but its bugy in Windows ( not the monitor fault) and also the brightness is realy good, i had to turn it down a little bit.

While the picture quality and brightness are good, the speakers of my unit didn't work at all.
Usually that's not what you buy a monitor for of course, but in my use case it was actually relevant.

The build quality is also quite abysmal, you can see leftover glue and the plastic parts are not plain either (see photo).

Furthermore, the ergonomy of the monitor is absolutely terrible. You can adjust the height, you can't swivel it, you can only adjust the angle on the horizontal axis but only very slightly.

So basically, unless your desk setup just happens to coincidentally fit this monitor (very unlikely), it's completely useless because you can't adjust it to your needs.

The manual - usually not needed - is quite frankly a waste of paper too, there are barely any instructions and the pictures in them are so tiny you can't make out a thing.
I had to google how to detach the stand again, it's basically trial & error.

Definitely sending this back and cannot recommend buying it.
Considering the low build quality and the lack of features, I would say this product is way overpriced, it's worth 50-100 bucks at best.

Can't speak on gaming as I only use this for my photography.

the ONLY thing I'd warn you about is the mounting points. Try and get a mount specifically for this size. The mount I had has little flaired out corners so it doesn't quite fit the mounts on the back. You'll either need to cut the edges of the mount OR use some washer and longer bolts (what I did). Samsung's rear is kinda silly since it's rounded as opposed to just a flat mounting surface. Take a look at the pics to see what I mean about the mounts overlapping the area of the mounting points.

Great productivity monitor and also pretty suitable for video editing or graphics work for web use. While it's no Dolby Vision ProArt, it's color accurate enough at 99% RGB for most essential color work. No backlight bleed around the edges, good contrast and brightness. It's a solid IPS panel.

At 60Hz, I probably wouldn't use it for PC gaming (that is if your rig can push 60 fps at 4k, mine certainly can't in many games), but for something like a PS5 this is a good choice. Especially, I would imagine, at 32".

I am personally using it for media work and other productivity tasks related to my job, and in that application it's great. Since I have the 27" version, 4k makes things just a little too small so I scale to 2K, and it still looks great after scaling. It is VESA 100mm compatible so you're able to easily attach it to a monitor arm or other mounting solution without some adapter.

The power cord that it comes with is angled at 90 degrees as to prevent cables from protruding past the bottom of the monitor frame, which is thoughtful. Initially, I was going to use my existing power that was routed up through a monitor arm but ended up using the included cable.

For the price, I would perhaps consider some other options first - you could get a decent 2K ultrawide in this range - and so I do question the value a little bit. However, I haven't once felt like this monitor was lacking in any department for my use cases and overall I'm happy with it thus far.

Llevo mas de dos meses con este monitor, lo compré para mejorar el 1080p que tenía de la misma marca Samsung, ya que el menú es el mismo y el joystick para navegarlo también, teniendo tan buena experiencia con ese me animé con este monitor 4k, es obvio que la mejora en la imagen se iba a notar, esta increíble jugar así, tengo una tarjeta gtx1060 y los juegos los pongo en 2k para ir a no menos de 45fbs con todo en alta, me encantan los colores y el brillo, las peliculas en 4k se ven muy bien y para multitasking en el trabajo no hay nada mejor, estuve mucho tiempo pensando entre comprar este o un ultrawide de 34" pero además de que esos son mas caros tienen menos pixeles que los 4k, cabe mencionar que 32" es la resolución perfecta para monitores 4k porque es la mejor forma de aprovechar el espacio de monitor sin notar los pixeles.

Como dato extra debo resaltar que aunque el instructivo lo indica en una parte algo dificil de ver, la lógica me dicctó que conectara el hdmi, que viene incluido, en el puerto 1, estuve un par de días usandolo así y notaba que aunque el monitor me decia que iba a 60fps yo no veía tal fluidez y me di cuenta que era porque ese puerto iba maximo a 30hrz, debe de conectarse al puerto 2 para ir a 60hrz en 4k.

Hubiera sido perfecto que incluyeran un cable displayport, voy a tener que comprarlo si quiero usar la función de AMD freesync con mi tarjeta nvidia.

otra cosa es que el unico defecto que encontré es que el conector de alimentación queda muy flojo en el puerto del monitor, no he tenido problemas de que se desconecte como tal porque no toco los cables de atras pero si se atropella por alguna razón se safa muy facilmente.
