I was worried of ordering a phone through Amazon, I was scared of receiving a chinese phone or stolen or used but I am so glad this was not the case!After trying twice to order from Samsung official page and getting my card refused because of dumb security reasons and literally losing 10 days waiting for their responses, I only had Amazon as my only quick option to order the phone without any bloatware or limitations that carrier companies install on the phones.I was skeptical at first because the phone was so much cheaper here, -15% off, which gave it a price of $2,000 CAD before taxes. Which made it $400 CAD cheaper than Samsung itself.Ordered the phone on Thursday and received it on Monday at the door, brand new, no scratches on the box, all perfect!The phone itself is great, bought it for my wife and she loves using it everyday. this is the second fold that I purchased from Amazon. I purchased the first galaxy fold three about a year and a half ago. I was given a very good discount when I bought it and it just recently had it screen protector separate from the screen, which requires you to pay Samsung to reapply a new one. I decided it wasn’t worth the hassle to upgrade to this fold 4, I got a pretty good deal on it, but as soon as I opened it, it had the exact same problem that it took number three a year and a half to develop with the screen. I suspect the Amazon units have been sitting for quite a long time so although they may be on sale, the folding phone products are likely more susceptible to this issue than those that you will find elsewhere.

I bought my phone a few weeks ago. Now the big screen is blacked out. The diagnostic app that's in the settings doesn't even check that screen.

I bought this phone for $2400 from Telus and I paid extra warranty plus the device care protection plan. A bit later than 1 year the right main screen lost the touch sensitive function and soon after a black stain showed in between both sides of the main screen. Because it happened after one year the main warranty did not cover neither the extended warranty I had paid for. The care protection plan said there is no replacement for the main screen to be fixed and because of the cost, they recommended to have it fully replaced. I would have just to pay the replacement service fee which is $640 dollars!!! I have it under a 2 y turn back plan so if I dont fix it, I cannot return it and if I have to keep it; I will have to pay the left over cost ($350). No way out ! Someone has to take responsibility for this. It not possible that there is no replacement for the screen. This is a previously reported manufacture issue that happened to several Galaxy Fold 2 versions for which it was taken off the market. Now it s happening to the Galaxy Fold 3!! Shame on the insurance company, extended warranty plan, manufacture company and sellers of this phone!
