I got this pair for only 120$(CAD) and the sound, battery life, and overall fit with the right tips is quite good. Easily the best overall set of earbuds for this price. The sound while not very punchy and with middle of the road bass, is very clear, and sounds good at all ends of the spectrum. Nothing to blow your mind, but probably the best set of earbuds in your house, even sounding better than my full on headset, which I paid 100$ for. I've yet to have an issue with the battery life and the case give the buds, from my experience about 2-3 charges. They charge quick and the case is not the thinesst thing ever, well pocketable though. The almost rubber feeling outside of the case is alright as well. The, app, pairing, and overall look are amazing, especially with a Samsung phone. However, the noise cancelling, while no slouch, it is not the best. Mostly when it comes to loud voices or rumbles, they, while hardly noticeable when music is up, punch through. But for not only this price, but also how great everything else is about these earbuds I'd buy them again and also suggest them to my friends and family.

Does have the ability for ambient sound when you need it. Charged them 1 other time since I got them. Comes with usb charger. No block. Use my wireless charging station. Super impressed

Great headphones with quirks

As someone who has invested heavily in the Samsung ecosystem, I was compelled to make this purchase especially when it was on sale. However although this is a brand new device that arrived it had some quarks from day one. One of the main things I noticed was that periodically it will drop service and connectivity to the phone itself when listening to music. So that when I am on a walk I will occasionally notice, approximately one in 20 listens, that it will disconnect and then reconnect within 1 to 2 seconds. The sound quality is great and really is a treat to listen to an immerse yourself in the sounds and great music you want to listen to. However the active noise cancellation was a bit lacking. When you put the headphones on by default the passive noise cancellation provides an excellent block out of any ambient sounds and significantly mutes a lot of talking or background noise. However, when you're on a call which I do a lot of for work, the sounds in the background are only attenuated a little bit and can be heard if I'm walking such as my footsteps while walking or cars driving by so it does not fully cancel and degrades the quality of my own voice while talking as it's competing to cancel noises in the background. This is not a deal-breaker but is a little upsetting that it limits my range of use for these headphones when on business calls to only little to no sound environments. The battery life is pretty good with the charging case providing a great way to top up the charge of your headphones themselves. The headphones aren't the best in terms of longevity for battery life and can go three to four hours before getting a little too low in battery charge for my liking. Overall, I would say this is a good pair of headphones for the price when it is on sale! Beyond that I think the pro versions from what I've heard can provide a better noise cancellation experience but for the $100 price point which I purchase them for provide a great compliment to my Samsung ecosystem and devices. Keep these details in mind when considering purchasing this device and hopefully this was helpful!

An improvement over the Galaxy Buds1

This review is relative to the Galaxy Buds1, since that's all I have to compare these to. The Galaxy Buds2 fit better (for me) than the first series despite not having the little tab on the corners to help keep them in your ears. These also have better ambient sound which is excellent for walking around town. Sound quality and noise cancellation is noticeably better and the battery life seems fine, but I'm not sure how it compares to other wireless earbuds since I don't wear them for hours on end. They still have the same software features as the previous model, including the experimental 'Labs' options. I can't think of anything I dislike about these buds, good purchase overall.

Huge upgrade from the original buds, which started failing me after 3 years of moderate use.

Mostly loving the new ones and hoping they'll last the same (if not longer!)

Pros:
NOISE CANCELLING - I'm very impressed, these things have a tighter seal than the original buds which provides excellent passive NC (like earplugs). This will be diminished if they don't fit well in your ears though. ANC is meh, but combined with the passive NC its a powerful duo.

Audio upgrade - 2 speakers vs one makes a world of difference, noticed the better audio right away.

Software - Tried, true, and packed with good features

Wireless charging - Works like a charm

Cons:
Where are my wingtips?? - I get that not everyone likes them but these new buds have trouble staying in my ears during exercise/workouts, which is mostly what I bought them for.

Battery life - Slight downgrade from the original buds, due to ANC. Can be turned off to improve battery life.

Ear popping - It might be just me, but I find that with the tight seal my ears pop occasionally, which didn't ever happen with the original buds.

Overall a very solid earbud, and on sale its an even sweeter deal.

Touch controls...

The design of these buds makes it so that unlike the OG buds which were very forgiving in where you tapped them, these have 3 very specific and very small areas to register the taps on. Maybe don't rely on those.
