I had to return the 1st one because the fingerprint sensor didn’t work.I googled it and it seems to happen on brand new phones too.The error message is “Fingerprint sensor calibration needed”.The 2nd one cost a bit more because the price went up.I’m hoping the new phone works but if the fingerprint doesn’t then I have to decide if I really want that. :-)The phone is similar in width to my old LG G7 One but the Samsung is taller.I have a wifi6 router and the phone’s link speed is 1.1Gbps (on the 5GHz band).It is a 2020 phone and the LG is 2018 (LG left the cell phone market).The Samsung seems faster and it has more ram.The Samsung has a micro SD card slot (that is really good IMO).The fingerprint sensor on the second phone works but there is a Verizon welcome screen and Verizon apps (that can't be uninstalled) and warnings about a non-Verizon sim.It does work but the description is incorrect.It is a G781V not the Canadian Model G781W as advertised.The first one was a G781W but the fingerprint sensor didn’t work.Returning and giving up on refurbished phones from Amazon.I'll update as I get my 2 refunds.

Purchased this phone in July 2023 and the screen burnt out 9 months in. I am a very light user of a phone. It’s always off in sleep mode. The side button for turning it on and off is broken. When I took it for repair, I learned an improper screen had been put on this phone-not a Samsung screen. On further investigation I found that it is a known problem for this model to lose the screen as leaving the screen open of on high light will cause them to quit working. When this happens, it’s the cost of another phone for repair. I should have done my homework better on Samsung S20 fe but the after market parts weren’t something I would have recognized anyway. I strongly suggest not purchasing this model.

Absolutely wonderful phone and excellent condition, however I received a USA version and have an annoying notice every power on off and top of screen saying it's not a Verizon Sim card. Seems small but is very annoying. Cannot even disable or silence the notification makes it even worse. Other than that great products, advertising says Canada version and clearly is not.

Very difficult condition to diagnose intermittent charge port, and couldn't connect device to computer beyond seconds of the first attempted connection (file transfer).
Reset OS to factory default and fault still occurred after complete default system reset.

Annoying when you can't charge the phone barely a couple weeks since original purchase. Also had some odd sporadic screen glitches but overall although this one was a dud I was able to locate a identical replacement that in fact does work correctly using a saved backup of original OS. Replacement connected immediately, and successfully with PC. I believe you should be able to leave Samsung USB settings without first selecting mode function. Replacement charges, and transfers with original default usb settings! Relieved it finally works correct!
