I just got this today so my initial impressions are good. I’ll edit if need be.Open the box carefully because inside the little bag with the strap are 3 silicone port plugs that can easily get lost. They are just for keeping dust out of the port. It also comes with a tiny plastic sheet for situations where the sensor connection isn’t good. It is not for normal use.I charged both pieces fully—for around an hour and a half, maybe two hours. I tried it out on my Kindle and it worked well. I did make my margins bigger so the clip does not cover up any text. I also tried it on my iPad and it worked well there, too. I’ve attached a brief video for reference. The clip needs to go on the right side since that is the side that advances pages. I tried it on the top and the sensor was doing things associated with the functions on top. I read that it’s supposed to work on the top but I don’t see how that is possible. The sensor is taking the place of your finger after all.Make sure to read how much width the clip can handle before putting it in your device. Really thick cases will not be able to accommodate. Handle the clip carefully so that it does not break. The two buttons on the remote do the same thing. Apparently it’s just comfort level but I don’t feel two buttons are necessary. Please note that the clicker only *advances* pages since it is clipped on the right side. I see in reviews that some have complained about that. But when you think about it, it canNOT know to go in reverse because it’s ‘acting’ in place of your finger. It advances the pages just as your finger would on the right side. To go backward, all you need to do is just touch the left side with your finger like you would without a remote. That really isn’t an issue since we have little need to go backward in a book. When it’s needed, we can easily use a finger. 🤷🏼‍♀️One suggestion I have for the manufacturer: The button on the back of the clip should be at the other end. I pressed that button unnecessarily when I’m clipping or unclipping. I find that I have to hold on the top and bottom instead and press the lever to clip or unclip. It’s a little awkward when your inclination is to put your fingers behind it and press the clip with your thumb. I’ve attached a photo for reference. So far, so good. I feel the price is a little high for two very small pieces. As long as it holds the charge for a long time, which reviews say it does, and does not break, I feel I will get a lot of value from it over all. It will be handy for when I want to read while I’m eating or multi-tasking. It will also be convenient if I want to read in bed and put my Kindle in a clip-on stand. Having a stand and a clicker is also very advantageous for those who have neck or shoulder issues and cannot be looking down without having pain or discomfort.

It works as advertised on the Amazon Paperwhite Kindle. It is nice to have while on a treadmill, to go to the next page. The remote is comfortable to hold but the plastic feels a little cheap but, it is a unique product. I need to adjust the page margins on the Kindle to fit the adapter. The adapter works well when using the included clear pad (only one) on the contact pins. It would be nice if the Kindle had energy efficient bluetooth and/or a generic keyboard driver (for the usb port). This workaround adapter works well despite looking a little goofy.

Never saw the point in these until I realized how useful it'd be to have, in order to continue reading, while bottle feeding a newborn. Pair this with a gooseneck stand and I now have a couch side set up! Chose this page turner based on other readers' positive reviews of it and happy to say it checks out. Easy to set up and use. Controller is comfortable in hand. Charged it once at delivery and haven't had to since, after a month or so of using it nearly daily. Definitely a great buy for any reader's set up!

I kept contemplating getting this because as a canadian it comes up to about $40 and I was like is that worth being able to only change the pages forward? Well im here to tell you yes it definitely is and here’s why also want to address some concerns i saw from reading the thousands of reviews on amazon:

- I initially thought just getting the gooseneck stand would be enough but even though it is sturdy and awesome when you tap to advance the page it shakes the holder and for me this is very distracting only way around it is to gingerly ever so lightly try to tap as to not disturb it (which you can do by all means but it gets annoying esp if you are a fast reader your hand ends up having to suspend in the air waiting to tap which kind of defeats the purpose of ”hands-free”

- with the remote you have the option of easier reading at a distance for ex having your kindle on a stand on a table while you eat etc. for those who think they wouldnt be able to see just make the font larger! Remote in one hand and utensil in the other and boom can eat and read so easily

- reviews about the clip breaking - the clip is very tight so i can understand if someone is agressively opening and closing it how it can break but the whole unit feels good quality and i do not think it will break if you are taking care when using it - also most ppl dont read instructions it tells you the max size your case can be to use it with a case just make sure you are checking that yours is okay (i found the measurements for mine from the amazon lisiting i bought it from)

- size of attachment- i really expected the clip part to be huge like a garage remote because that’s what it looked like but its actually quite small and travel friendly

- everything feels over all well made and comes with everything you need and extras (dust plug, sticky tabs, lanyard)

- battery lasts extremely long, used it every day since i got it for HOURS at a time (3+ hours a day) and it only died today after almost 3 weeks of owning it

5.0 out of 5 stars Works Great With My Kindle Scribe
Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2024

This device has spoiled me as far as reading goes on my Kindle Scribe. Who would have ever thought that a remote control for a digital ebook tablet could be so great? I give this product 5 stars across the board, but I have to be honest that I have not used it enough to see how good the battery life is on it. I really don't have any complaint about this page turner, except for one. It has two buttons, and both of them will only flip pages forward. You can not flip page backward if you needed to. Besides that one thing, I think this is a great product and I like the fact that when using it, and with my Kindle Scribe propped up on a stand, I don't risk dropping my tablet, so that is a really good advantage for using this. Get one. You won't regret it. It's very useful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great with my kindle
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on June 16, 2024

Wonderful little gadget. Box contains some instructions, transmitter, clip on receiver, USB Type C cable (for charging), a wrist lanyard (for transmitter), some small stickers to attach to receiver pads to improve screen contact (I didn't need them) and 2 small rubber plugs for charging ports. It simulates a screen tap using a tiny electric charge delivered through pads in contact with screen.

I use it on my kindle oasis held in a stand (kindle still in case) charge them up, pair transmitter with receiver and clip receiver on. You might need to move receiver around a little to get good contact with the screen and depending on font size it might block a tiny bit of text (2 or 3 characters on very bottom right for me). A small price to pay.

When charging there is a small red LED to let you know it's charging. The receiver also has a green LED that illuminates when your pairing and flashes on each time you send a signal from transmitter. There is no off button for the receiver (in fact there's just one button to switch it on and pair it with transmitter) it powers off if it doesn't receive a signal for awhile (not sure how long but it hasn't switched off before the end of the page). Click the button once and it'll switch on.

The transmitter has 2 buttons...but they both do the same thing. You can only simulate a tap on one side of screen, you can't use this to go backwards and forward. I suppose you could buy 2 of these and attach one to each side of screen then one remote would be forward and the other would be back seems a waste of money to me.

In operation it works perfectly. Each button click simulates a screen tap and turns page. When I'm done I just push kindle (on it's holding arm) to one side and put remote away. The auto power off means I don't need to switch anything off (in fact you can't). If you read a kindle in bed and it's held in a stand or holding arm then you need one of these.
