Only improvement would be if seat were a little more plush.

Looks the part, appears heavy duty with all the right clamps and screw etc, but ultimately, it doesn't work. The main threaded shaft works itself loose, despite the additional securing piece. The padded seat relies on one thumb screw to clamp it to the top of the shaft, and again, quickly slackens off despite how tight you clamp it on. There is a plastic sleeve in which it sits, which is so stiff it just doesn't allow the clamp to really grip. Perhaps with some modification it could be better, but it doesn't overcome the wobbling shaft, which just quickly makes the whole thing feel like the crappy little budget seat I already had. The seat is also overly stiff, and causes numbness after a bit of time. Overall, I wouldn't bother. Invest in something decent that stands a chance of working without gaffer tape.
