Great budget option for video production!
After using this tripod for a few weeks and traveling with it on a few shoots its been perfect for me. I love being able to swap between my Ronin RS2 and this quickly. Also the height of this tripod fully extended is great. I would love if a few of the parts were better quality materials on the fluid head and the latches but you get what you pay for I just wouldn't want to be throwing this thing around. I would pay a little more better quality materials because the overall design is great.

Just starting using it so can’t comment on its quality over time but initially it’s great. Very study and solid with a great fluid head.

by far the best video tripod you can get if you are in a budget. I have zero complaints, firm and smooth, but I also never had a high end video tripod, so there is that.

I use the tripod to mount PTZ cameras in places where I need height, stability, and not dependent on manual adjustment (panning, tilting etc). The mount plate and release switch are a bit "plasticy" but seemed to work fine in spite of not metallic. The horizontal positioning with the bowl base is also great. The legs and catches for locking all work fine - and the carrying case is great to keep it together carrying to different locations. (If shipping with a lot of other gear I would suggest getting a heavier duty padded case) For the price I would say this tripod if well worth it as long as not relying on the serious pro level control of pan/tilt functionality with bigger production cameras)

Utilisé comme 2e trépied, vraiment étonné par la qualité pour le prix, considérant que mon trépied principal m'a coûté plus de 2000$, je ne m'attendais pas à grand chose de celui-là.

I use it for live events and a bit of recording and it has worked wonderful so far and with this kind of pricing it's almost like you are using a high quality tripod. Legs are sturdy and doesn't bend easily. You can also mount your DJI RS2 plate on this tripod.

Surprised that I am getting more accessories made by Smallrig. The tripod is sturdy enough for my A7Riii+2470 lens on the DJI RC 3 Mini gimbal.

I do not think this tripod is worth the price at full price; if you can get it at a discount of 20% or more, that is a more comparable price.
I unfortunately bought it a few weeks before the price discount; some things to note:
PROS
1) Tripod can support pretty heavy equipment and for static shots, seems pretty good.
2) Overall build material seems to be on par with other competitive brands, albeit other brands go on sale more and priced cheaper.
3) Height can be adjusted very well.
CONS
1) Tripod will not fit into the bag without taking off the swivel arm.
2) For the price, I do not think the tripod is stable enough. You can feel and see some shake in your footage when using the fluid head.
3) It is pretty heavy and bulky, so definitely not a run and gun type of tripod.
Again, I think if you can get this on a 20% or more sale, it is worth it. Do not pay full price for this.

You need a tripod. The tripod needs to be able to handle your camera. This can handle a lot of weight. The tilt adjustment adds a fair amount of friction and feels great. Pan adjustment is either locked or free movement with no friction, so it’ll be wild and takes a bit finesse and a light touch.
I have used it for two gigs now with my c300mkii and it handles it well. It goes plenty tall and is nearly weightless in comparison to my old beast of a manfrotto tripod. A breath of fresh air really.
So all in all it’s a great tripod at an insanely low price that is built well enough to live in my kit for decades.
If you’re the type of filmmaker who thrashes gear to death then you may want something a bit more robust. But also you should sit down and meditate on why you treat your gear like it’s rented and you have a vendetta against the producers to the point where you are insistent on leaving them with a massive L&D bill at the end of the show. Why are you like this??? And then… buy this tripod and treat it like it deserves to be respected, as do all the pieces of gear in your kit.
So in closing: great tripod, great price, treat it well and it will return the favor.

Prior to getting this upon a recommendation... I've often wondered if there's much difference between top end and $50 tripods. Once you have something like this, you can never go back to the cheap stuff.
