For satellite and surround speakers, proper positioning is a must. That's why Sanus designed their durable HTBS stands specifically for smaller speakers or smaller bookshelves. These stands give you plenty of placement options. The universal designs of those floor stands/ speaker stands make them compatible with a wide range of speaker brands such as bose, Harmon, kardon, Polk , JBL, Samsung,Sony etc... Their height is adjustable from 28" to 38", so you can position your floor stand right at ear level for optimal performance. With three different mounting methods — top plates, L-shaped brackets, and keyhole slot adapters — you can mount virtually any small satellite speaker, including back-bolt and bottom-bolt types. The Heavy cast iron bases provide excellent stability for your speakers, and the stands are attractively styled to look great in any room.

I wanted the speakers off my desk and close to the wall. Overall, I am satisfied with the results.One issue I had was threading the RCA plugs through the internal cable routing holes. They didn't fit. I used the included cable ties to route the cables externally. The straps stay in place due to the coarseness of the black paint on the stands.The build quality of the stands feels cheap in some spots. There is some rust on the exposed metal of the threads, and some of the speaker mounting plates are not flat. From a distance, they look fine, but the imperfection is visible upon close inspection.The instructions were clear and helpful. I ended up using bottom mounts with double-sided tape.

These speaker stands are nice. There's not much for height (36" max) but they sit at a good height for my recliner.

Pros:
- Many points to customize height and space. The tear drop shape of the base make it so you can turn the base many different directions to make it fit in very specific places in regards to your couch placement.
- The finish on the stands is very rough, almost like a spackle, but it is nice. It shouldn't be too hard to match any decor
- The base is very heavy and should withstand almost any side force - Should be hard to knock over

Cons:
- Could be a bit taller
- Not easy to hide cords up to the speakers
- Speaker mounts don't fit all speakers (could only fit 1 screw through the mount)

Overall - Good price for the stands. They work, and I can't complain. The stands will work for most speakers, but may need some tweaking to make it work for you.

These were easy to assemble but didn't last a week. I had bookshelf speakers on them, no mounts. Well within their supported weight. One stand just gave up and slid down under the weight of the speaker, shattering the cheap plastic that adjusts the tension. The other stand just lost adhesion.
EDIT:
Seller reached out to me and offered a refund, unsolicited. While I didn't have great experience with the product, I may just have had bad luck. It's nice that they reached out to reimburse me without asking for anything.

I bought these stands for Samsung SWA-9000 satellite speakers. The included bolts are too large for the keyholes in the back of the speakers. Furthermore the keyholes are too high for the L shaped mounting brackets. The problem is solved by using the flat brackets and the included two-sided tape. The speaker sits on top of the bracket and the bracket is easily attached to the stand. I was concerned about the strength of the adhesive tape but so far it is holding. Assembly was easy. Threading the speaker wire through the base and bottom pole is easy. Threading the upper pole was a challenge because there was an obstruction in one of them. Needle nose pliers are useful to grip the wire when it appears in the bored hole. The stands are stable and look fine. Good value for the money.

The only SIMPLE way the Samsung 9100S Surround Speakers would work with these stands was to use the double-sided adhesive pads and flat mounting plates that are included with the kit. The speakers are very compact (3.5" Wide x 3.5" Deep x 6" high) and very light. They are very stable mounted using this method.
There is always the option of going out to buy 2 sets of smaller M4 Machine Screws with 4 Flat Washers and 4 Nuts (so you can tighten the M4 to the mount on both sides to keep it from moving when you use the keyhole mount), but, I found the Samsung speakers weight almost nothing so the adhesive pads do the job without that hassle.

I purchased the speaker stands for Roku wireless speakers. Because of the size of the power cables, they do not fit inside the speaker stands to hide the wires, but the included Velcro straps allowed me to strap the wires to the stands.
