Wife bought me this for our 256gb steamdeck. It is now a 1tb steamdeck. it was waaaaaaaay easier than I had thought it would be. Can't recommend the upgrade enough. 20 minutes approx. to replace the drive, and now I have a 256gb spare nvme that I threw in an external enclosure (also from amazon). Great price, great product, easy installation, fast shipping (even including the blizard delays).... can't ask for anything else.. well done everyone involved :)

Success with this nvme in a surface pro 8 so far. I read through other surface pro 8 reviews and decided to give it a try. There are some on here that complained of their system rebooting with this nvme, however it's unlikely they changed the power settings in Windows 11 to Moderate because this drive works at a slightly lower voltage. The read/write speeds are exactly as stated which was surprising. I have an m1 macbook pro 14 and this nvme is comparable. To clone your current drive you will need an nvme enclosure.
This is a much better alternative than slower and overpriced gen 3 drives or the Chinese vendors on ebay gouging everyone with used drives they pull from damaged machines. I doubt I'll even upgrade when the surface 10 comes out since this base model is really great.

Bought this to upgrade my original 64gb steam deck, was a perfect drop in replacement, games load much faster and was an excellent price for the size. I do wish they Included a piece of esd foil or tape, but as the product is not designed specifically for the steam deck I can't fault them for that as it would not apply in most situations. Product was packaged well and came in an awesome metal case that seems like something out of terminator

Bought this to replace the one from SteamDeck. Function and work as it's supposed to be and satisfy with the performance. Didn't bother to do any tests because there's no noticeable lags or performance issues. Booting and switching between Windows and SteamOS performed well.

I'm happy with this drive. It came well presented in a copper package and felt like a quality product. I used this to replace the SSD that came with my Steam Deck for more space. Aside from having to open up the Deck, which isn't difficult, this went right in without any fuss. I then used a bootable Linux with Gparted and the dd command to clone the old drive to the new one using a NVME dock. Then, the deck booted right up. I was happy to get the extra SSD space, and it is a little faster than the old one, though I don't really notice in games, as in most even the SD cards it's hard to really notice.

As this is a 2230 form factor drive, it is a bit more expensive than 2280 drives as it has to use larger and more expensive flash modules rather than many smaller ones. Still, I felt the value was good.

Lo compre para actualizar mi Steam deck de 64gb, hice una clonacion de la tarjeta de 64gb a esta tarjeta por medio de mi desktop. Se reiniciaba en algunos juegos pero se solucionó haciendo un reinicio de fábrica ya con la tarjetas de 1tb. Ha funcionado muy bien desde entonces para guardar muchos juegos de steam. La carga de juegos es buena si tarda menos tiempo que cargarlos desde una Micro SD. Recomendable.

J’ai acheté ce SSD pour booster les performances de mon ordinateur portable, qui dispose d’un emplacement M.2 2230. Le SSD est compatible avec la norme PCIe 4.0, ce qui lui permet d’atteindre des vitesses de lecture et d’écriture impressionnantes.
