The very nice packaging says it all: "Live a Better Day." After 14 years with flagship Samsung Galaxy models, I finally switched to a Google Pixel phone. My cellphone service provider had just offered me a Pixel 8 phone for $120 payable over 24 months. Protecting my phone is always top of mind, and this Ringke Onyx Pixel 8 case fits the bill for several reasons:1) Sleek textured finish (I opted for classic black)2) Provides good protection without the bulky appearance3) Buttons and camera holes are precision-finished4) Power and volume buttons are tactile5) The four sides form a protective bezel for the screen when putting your phone face down (especially for someone like me who does not like using a screen protector)6) Excellent grip7) Competitive price (got this for $14.99 at the time of purchase)Going forward, this will be my cellphone case of choice. Go for it, and you will not regret the purchase.

 I recently purchased this phone case and I have been extremely satisfied with its performance. The case feels rugged and impact resistant in my hands, giving me peace of mind knowing that my phone is well-protected. The textured surfaces on the back and sides of the case provide a secure grip, and it does not have a tacky feeling like some silicone cases do. This is a huge plus for me as I hate that sticky feeling on my hands. The buttons are super clicky and the cut outs are precisely fitted. The top and bottom of the case on the front facing side have raised lips so that your screen is not in contact with surfaces if it is face down.

The case fits screen protectors perfectly and it has allowed me to add an extra layer of protection for my phone without any issues. However, I should note that the Pixel 7 fingerprint reader is not compatible with screen protectors but this case was designed to fit screen protectors.

Overall, I highly recommend this phone case to anyone looking for a rugged, impact resistant and well-designed case that provides a secure grip and fits screen protectors perfectly. It has exceeded my expectations in terms of protection and functionality and I am very happy with my purchase.

Feels premium, fits beautiful, great color. I had dropped my phone a few times and got dings on the edges with Google's own recommended phone cover. This cover this wrapped around the blemishes and is so sleek, feels stronger than the other one. I do understand the risk, it's not a spigen armour for my phone and I accept the compromise for the aesthetics.

Love the texture,fit and finish.I dont leave reviews often, but this one deserved a mention especially because I was so sceptical at the time of ordering.

I've always used Ringke cases so I didn't look much at other options. The case is affordable, looks clean, and fits the Pixel 8 Pro like a glove. The textured back and sides provide good grip, even for one handed operation. It also tapers along the sides of the screen and does not affect gesture navigation.

Great case overall. I just wish they had more colors...

This is overall a pretty nice case and I am thus far quite satisfied with the performance. I haven't tested the durability of the case yet and have not had enough time with it to see any wear and tear but have high hopes none the less. The fit is very snug with no give but is also easy to put on. The texture is also fantastic offering a nice feel and is super grippy making the phone seem slightly slimmer and lighter in the hand. The flat sides also reduce the amount of grip strength needed to feel secure when grasping the phone with one hand. The earthy hunter green colour way is also quite sophisticated and subtle which I really enjoy.

The only draw backs I see at this stage is the buttons. While they do have a great click to them and require little to no additional effort to depress. They are a bit too low profile for me. Feeling around for the right button can sometimes take just a second longer. I do appreciate that there is a nub to indicated the volume up button but when trying to adjust in a hurry that can be easily missed.

Lastly, I got this case because it has less pronounced lip especially forwards the middle of the portion of the phone. The corners are fine that is primarily where the protecting is needed. I just wish the mid section was more flush with the screen. I was hoping that swiping from the edge my finger would not brush up against a raised lip but unfortunately it still does.

Ive used a variety of slim cases including the OtterBox for my pixel 7, this rates far superior to all, it's slim and sturdy, recessed at top and bottom corners so that prevents the glass protection from coming out each time you slip in and out of your pocket. The grip is fantastic, one compliant is the limited colors it comes in, blank, blue and green would have liked some bright color options.....would highly recommend.

I've had this case on my Pixel 7 since Dec 2022, over 16 months. The texture is fantastic, grippy enough to hold easily while hard enough that it feels smooth. Despite the grip, I've managed to drop my phone in various circumstances - and the case has stood the test extremely well, through numerous hard falls on tile, concrete, etc. It still looks, feels & works just like it did in day one, and the phone had suffered no damage through some surprisingly bad moments. Just a simple, no-frills case, it's not eye-catching or particularly slim fitting, but it sure does the trick for what I need a case to do.
