Before I bought this product I read through a lot of the reviews, and will admit I was skeptical about purchasing it based on the things I read. But it went on sale and I wanted to see for myself, so I bought 2 of them for my front and back door.

Installation was extremely easy, no issues at all. I fully charged them before installation and I’ve only had to charge them once since Aug.

I live in Manitoba (Canada) and so far this winter it’s been as cold as -45 outside, and they still worked amazing - the comments about it not working when it’s cold, not true. Currently -36 out - see attached pictures.

I have them running on WiFi with my modem in my basement and I have had zero issues

The picture is incredible, very high quality. I also subscribe to the monthly fee to get the recordings and it’s been great.

I understand sometimes you get a lemon, But I personally have had no issues with this product and would buy it again.

So we bought this 2 cameras as it was a deal for both outside of your door and inside of the home and it amazing. The picture is clear, sound is great does t lag, maybe a 2 second delay on the live but it's perfect. It gives us sense of security when we leave the house now.

The outside ring camera we don't have a house it's an apartment so we don't have any issues with the battery lasting. We installed it end of February and it's ONLY a quarter way used and we use it everyday!

Inside ca.era works wonders as well. Like I said before great picture, 2 second delay IF that sound is clear.

OH and I also had some fu Paranormal work too... THAT ISH WAS INSANE lol 😆 I could tell the difference from fluff, dust and an anomaly so cool lol. Also let's me interact quth my cat as well while we are gone for a day or so also makes me feel better knowing she's ok!

Once you download the app it gives you 30 days free trial for you to go back to certain days and save everything, then You'll have to subscribe which I believe is just over $100 for the year which is worth it. We have 2 phones connected so far! I told my mom and she got one right away !

I fully enjoyed this doorbell when we hooked it up, two and a half weeks ago. However since we installed it our weather has dipped to -8 Celsius. Yes I'm Canadian. This doorbell needs to come with a disclaimer stating that it doesn't work in colder weather. It should also come with a disclaimer saying if you call Ring and ask them about their product, once they know it was purchased from Amazon they won't feel inclined to really do much, other than offer to replace it or tell you to charge your battery. I was told to talk to Amazon. The Ring representative was pleasant but she outright stated that it is not meant for this weather. When I told her that -8 is about 17 in Fahrenheit she said ohhh nooooo that's too cold, I said that's nothing and it can get to -30 really easy here. That would be when she said it is not meant for this weather. And that should be one of the first things that they say about this doorbell. It was suggested that I get an extra battery and just keep switching it out, no I am not doing that. I bought this for peace of mind, I no longer have peace of mind. And I am really not happy with Ring for the way that they handled this situation.

Yo lo compre, ya que trabajo todo el dia y tengo vecinos un poco problemáticos y este producto me ayudo a tener vigilada mi casa, aun cuando estoy a distancia, solo lo he encontrado unos puntos malos, que considero deben mejorar. Yo tenia un celular HUAWEI y la app no esta disponible en su tienda de aplicaciones, tienes que utilizar a un tercero para bajarla, aunque funciona bien, las notificaciones a veces tardaban hasta 5 o 10 minutos en llegar a mi teléfono. Cambie de telefono a iphone y ya no se presento el problema.
La instalación es sencilla y rapida, te recomiendo que le compres un protector si lo tienes en la calle, en mi caso le compre un protector ya que esta a la intemperie y llega un momento que le pega el sol. Aun asi estuvo algunos dias a la intemperie y soporto sin problemas.
En cuanto a los planes, es una lata que no te especifiquen de manera clara en su pagina cual es la dirferencia entre todos los planes, lo mas significativo es el tiempo que duran guardados los videos, en mi caso te recomiendo primero pruebes los planes, luego la version gratuita y veas cual se adecua mejor.

Dentro de la casa, usamos un alexa para que nos indique cuando alguien toca, a veces es molesto, por que alexa se queda con el volumen que configuraste alto y si luego reproduces alguna alarma o usas alexa, el volumen te puede asustar, aun no le encuentro como modificar eso. Pero si debes considear que el timbre se oye afuera, pero dentro de la casa si necesitas algo para escucharlo.

En general, si buscas algo sencillo de instalar y que no sea tan complicado, te lo super recomiendo, no te recomiendo si tienes equipos HUAWEI, la verdad es que sera una lata el tema de las notificaciones.

Gran producto. La verdad estaba con dudas cuando la compré, de hecho abrí el paquete con cuidado porque ya estaba con la idea de que no me serviría y que lo iba a regresar. Pero para mí sorpresa superó todas mis espectativas.

Anteriormente tenía otro sistema de timbre con cámara que según era 2K, ya tengo más de 1 año con el otro, pero la verdad la resolución no era muy buena y cuando quería ver videos anteriores pues decepcionado porque luego no tomaba todo. Vivo en departamentos, donde en los pasillos al no tener ventanas no hay mucha luz, entonces la visión angular a pesar de ser de 166 "según", pues no daba mucho, no daba un buen rango de visión, y en temas de resolución era muy pobre, literal la gente pasaba de frente y a menos de un metro de la cámara y no se veía bien el rostro, solo ubicabas a la gente si ya la conocías, pero si un desconocido pasaba nunca podrías ver quién era.

La sorpresa con esta cámara fue que la calidad de video es excelente, se aprecian bien los rostros y en temas de visión angular se ve mucho más que con la otra, hace poco pasó que una persona tiro un adorno del vecino de enfrente y no pude ver quién fue porque no dió el ángulo de la cámara, de ahí que buscara una nueva opción. Con esta nueva RING la puse y fue lo primero en que me fijé, y oh sorpresa!! Se veía sin problema!! Si hubiera tenido esta cámara días atrás sin problemas hubiera visto quién fue.

Una gran compra. Sin duda para la otra me iría por otra versión más arriba, si vale la inversión.
