I own a revlon eyelash curler. I've had it for years and it's my favorite! This newer version is terrible. The top end of the curler has some sort of safety feature on the end that does not allow me to get close enough to my eyelid to curl the lashes at the base rather than at the ends. IT SIMPLY DOES NOT DO THE JOB!! useless :(
