The items seem like decent quality but the pouches were bent in shipping so don’t lay flat anymore and they were not cut at the top to be able to attach the clip to them, I had to use an exacto blade to cut out the opening.

The media could not be loaded.
 These are worth the money. I’m happy with both of mine, one holds my transit pass on my purse (with the badge) so I don’t lose it/it doesn’t get wet in the cruddy weather.

The other is used for what you see here, my blade at work because I kid you not I’ve gone through about 4 already. Constantly losing them! This makes it easy to just extend and cut what I need too, then let it retract.

With that being said, I don’t think this reel could hold much more weight than shown above. It’s definitely not quite “heavy duty” cord wise, but as long as you’re not carrying anything insanely heavy on it then you should be fine.

4/5 stars for the fact the reel can’t hold much weight, otherwise good product.

This is the second time I have bought these same badge holders. The first ones I bought 3 years ago (from the same place) and the one that gets the heaviest use broke (the string will no longer rewind). The second one still works like new. For the price I feel 3 years of heavy use is a good track record so I reordered another set. We only use the clip portion of them, not the clear plastic sleeve, so I have no idea about the durability of the sleeves. The clip portion is made of metal and plastic. The metal clip on the back is sturdy, the string is of a good thickness and the rewind runs smooth. They feel heavy and seem really well made over-all. Would buy again if these new ones last as long as the previous set did.
