I got this at 12.99$ to replace the remote of my Fire Cube (latest gen / 2023) that my kids broke.
It was easy and straight forward to pair. Works just like the original, even though the shortcut buttons are not the same. There are 2 different ways to pair the remote depending on if the original remote still works or not. In my case my old remote worked enough for this step, making it easier.
No included batteries.
